Zoom Client - new feature popup notification
Hi all,
is it possible to disable/hide for all our users the popup notification which appears most after updating to a newer zoom client?
Regards,
Eric

Afternoon all, We are looking into solutions for screen sharing, and are considering zoom. Our agents often call the clients, and use programs to share the screen, the problem is that it gives too much access (either to the client, or the agent). We want that the host can only share specific applications, or some restriction here. We don't want them to connect to a clients computer, and see their browser, in case their emails are open for security reasons. If we could limit them connecting to our application, then it would solve a lot of security problems. Is this something that is possible with zoom? Can an admin restrict the things hosts can share? Thanks,

Hi, I'd like to see Zoom get rid of the feature, "hide non-video participants" in a meeting. Quite frankly, I find this to be a very bizarre and inequitable feature of Zoom. I don't see why a person who has to spend part or indeed all of a meeting should be completely excluded from that meeting, especially when the person participates via the chat (or does not participate in the chat). A participant who is unable to turn their video on for one reason or another does not mean that they don't want to participate in a more engaged manner. Most hosts of meetings don't seem to hide non-video participants, but I was informed recently that other participants in a meeting may utilize this feature. I don't see the point of this feature and I never use this myself. I hope that Zoom considers permanently getting rid of this feature. Thank you!

Why are there fireworks and balloons that appear when I make certain hand gestures? How do I turn that off?
Hello! I was wondering is it possible in zoom for small businesses plan (not Events & Webinars plan) to cut off the video of all participants except the host? So that they only see 1 person speaking on their screen + chat? Thank you in advance for any help with it! Katia

Hi I was hosting a meeting that I wanted saved to my desktop. Meeting was maybe 40 minutes in and my video froze but I could see and hear the other participant and it was still showing the Recording marker in the top left of the screen. I tried to stop recording and the screen has a grey overcast both people froze... and it says not responding. So will I loose this recording? I don't know if I should close it because I don't want to loose the recording. Will it eventually respond? I have full strength on my internet.

Hi all, Since past 1-2 month, my zoom's meetings tab has started showing the recurring meetings that are scheduled today and over the next few months i guess. For example, today is 22nd Feb and i can see recurring meeting till May. This is really frustrating as the tab is now full of meetings scheduled over the next weeks and months. I want to disable this and show only today and tomorrows meeting at max.

Hi, Yesterday I had a meeting and I recorded it. During the meeting I checked several times to see if the recording was still running and it was. However, after the meeting ended, the recording was not converted, as is normally the case. I wonder if there is a recording now, because I can't find it anywhere. I hope someone can provide clarity or a solution. Thanks, Miranda

Hi there, for our Zoom meetings we work a lot with breakout rooms to match people for one on ones. So far there is the possibility to divide the rooms based on survey results. With this function we can only bring together people with the same answer (all answers A in one room and all answers B in one room). What we would need is to bring together two people with different answers, i.e. a person who has given A and a person who has given B in one room. I would be interested to know if such a function is planned by Zoom and will soon be on the market? That would be such a game changer!
