Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a new meeting or join an existing meeting.
  2. Let somebody else share her desktop.
  3. Maximize the shared desktop screen if not already so.

Description

Once the window is maximized, it seems to be impossible to resize it to a smaller size. It also is not possible to grab the shared window and drag it around, moving it to another screen. This behavior seems to occur either since the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or the Zoom Client.

I am following the instructions for adding a custom background image (iMac - OS Sonoma 14.5). I have a Zoom Workplace Pro account

  1. In the navigation menu, click Room Management then Zoom Rooms.
  2. Click the Account Settings link.
  3. Click the Account Profile tab.
  4. Under Setup, locate the Background image for Zoom Rooms setting.

But when I get into Zoom Rooms there is nothing else, no account settings link or account profile tab -- what do I do now?

recorded meeting

Following todays meeting, Zoom was uploading/downloading my 3 hour meeting for playback.  I am unable to locate the file.  Any assistance will be appreciated.

Ip address and detail of a participant

Hey, We were running a meeting today and got trolled by a naked person. Is there a way to find out their IP address so we can pass this onto the police?

Zoom Desctop auto uninstalls

On my laptop. the zoom desctop client uninstalls itself randomly. i can even sit in a meeting and it uninstalls itself. just today it has happended 4 times from 8 til 12. I have tried the following: Forced uninstall then installChecking app security ... Show more

On my laptop. the zoom desctop client uninstalls itself randomly. i can even sit in a meeting and it uninstalls itself. just today it has happended 4 times from 8 til 12.

 

I have tried the following: 

  • Forced uninstall then install
  • Checking app security in case windows 11 have a problem with the app and found NOTHING
  • added zoom to trusted apps
  • updated apps and windows

Stil. uninstalls itself..... i am turning to hatespeach!

Unable to annotate others' shared content - latest zoom update

I just updated my Zoom (Version: 6.1.5 ) and I can no longer annotate content that is shared by other people. I can only annotate when I am sharing my own content. I noticed that the zoom version before this one had a little pencil that would appear ... Show more

I just updated my Zoom (Version: 6.1.5 ) and I can no longer annotate content that is shared by other people. I can only annotate when I am sharing my own content. I noticed that the zoom version before this one had a little pencil that would appear which would enable annotation. However, this pencil button as been re-integrated back into the regular Zoom nav bar in this latest version of zoom (6.1.5). I am on a MacBook Pro (Running OS 12.5).

I tried to to trouble-shoot by:
- updating to latest version of Zoom (Version: 6.1.5 )

- reinstalling the latest version of Zoom from the Zoom download center

- restarting my machine

- checking advanced settings for screen sharing / annotation (both on my account, and on others' accounts)

- testing calls with a number of other users 

Cannot find a way to solve this.

Transcript not available

My Zoom settings are automatically set to provide a transcript when recording.  For a recent meeting, I recorded and afterwards got an email to say the recording files were available.  I went in and downloaded the video and audio files however the transcript still said 'transcribing'.  I checked later and still the same.  It's now been 10 days since the meeting and it's still displaying 'transcribing'! Any ideas how I can access my transcript? thanks!

Resolved! Can a guest start/stop a cloud recording?

Thank you for the help in advance! I am scheduling a meeting, but I may not be able to attend. Can guest record the meeting to my cloud without me being there? And if I just have the meeting set to record at the beginning of the meeting would a guest... Show more

Hi,

I had a three day event during which we needed to use an iPhone for close up video.

During the meeting, all other participants could see the video, but the video is not showing up in my recording.

Is there a way to recover this close up second camera [iPhone] or is this video footage completely lost?

I really need the close up video, so any help is sincerely appreciated?

Video setting spontaneously changes from HD camera to OBS virtual camera during a meeting

Even when we don't have OBS open, its virtual camera shows up as a video device option on Zoom. We have a webcam attached to the PC via USB and select HD camera in Zoom. For no apparent reason, the setting will sporadically change to OBS virtual came... Show more

Even when we don't have OBS open, its virtual camera shows up as a video device option on Zoom.  We have a webcam attached to the PC via USB and select HD camera in Zoom.  For no apparent reason, the setting will sporadically change to OBS virtual camera during a meeting. The Zoom task bar then shows the camera muted icon.  We can return to the webcam by unmuting it on the task bar or changing the option on the settings menu. A little while later it will switch back to the OBS option.  

 

This is a new problem.  The camera works fine.  We control the PTZ camera via its LAN interface which shows no problem with that video output.

 

Short of uninstalling OBS, what can be done to stop this unwanted, sporadic change?
