How to disable video for all participants except host?

Not Responding will it still save the recording

Hi I was hosting a meeting that I wanted saved to my desktop. Meeting was maybe 40 minutes in and my video froze but I could see and hear the other participant and it was still showing the Recording marker in the top left of the screen. I tried to st... Show more

Hi I was hosting a meeting that I wanted saved to my desktop.  Meeting was maybe 40 minutes in and my video froze but I could see and hear the other participant and it was still showing the Recording marker in the top left of the screen. I tried to stop recording and the screen has a grey overcast both people froze... and it says not responding.  So will I loose this recording? I don't know if I should close it because I don't want to loose the recording. Will it eventually respond? I have full strength on my internet.

Hi all,

Since past 1-2 month, my zoom's meetings tab has started showing the recurring meetings that are scheduled today and over the next  few months i guess. For example, today is 22nd Feb and i can see recurring meeting till May. This is really frustrating as the tab is now full of meetings scheduled over the next weeks and months. I want to disable this and show only today and tomorrows meeting at max.

Yesterday I had a meeting and I recorded it. During the meeting I checked several times to see if the recording was still running and it was. However, after the meeting ended, the recording was not converted, as is normally the case. I wonder if there is a recording now, because I can't find it anywhere. I hope someone can provide clarity or a solution.

Zoom 5.16 refuses to start

Hi, I had Zoom 5.15.11 installed on Windows 10 22H2 but when I upgraded to 5.16.0, it refused to start. I tried clearing out all local data but couldn't find any way to get detailed logging. When I run the exe, it just doesn't start. I rolled back to 5.15.11 and everything is fine. I tried again today with 5.16.2 but had the same problem. I had to uninstall and restore 5.15.11. It seems to be device-related, as I was able to upgrade on another Win10 PC with no problems. If it matters, I have an Nvidia GEForce GT 1030 graphics card, and and old AMD Phenom 1055T CPU. If you need any other information, or if there's any command line switches I can use to provide verbose logging, please let me know. Thanks, Raj.

Hi there, for our Zoom meetings we work a lot with breakout rooms to match people for one on ones. So far there is the possibility to divide the rooms based on survey results. With this function we can only bring together people with the same answer (all answers A in one room and all answers B in one room). What we would need is to bring together two people with different answers, i.e. a person who has given A and a person who has given B in one room. I would be interested to know if such a function is planned by Zoom and will soon be on the market? That would be such a game changer!

Running MacPro here and trying to output audio to a different sound device.  

I have several aggregate devices that I set up for different scenarios.  The are all hosted by the same 32ch interface.  This particular set up is supposed to take audio out on ch 15-16 but instead, It keeps playing it on channels 1 & 2.    Is it because Zoom does not recognize aggregate devices?  It plays it on first two channels of the default interface even though in preferences is chosen an aggregate device.

 

I hope you understand what am saying 🙂

 

Any ideas?

Microphone not working

The built-in microphone (on my laptop) works fine when tested in Zoom settings, however, when I enter an actual Zoom meeting it does not. I use Windows 8. Have reinstalled Zoom. Did not help. I have to resort to using an external microphone. Any idea... Show more

Record of Prior Meetings

Any way with the "free" version to obtain the dates of prior Zoom meetings?  I would be willing to pay for this information.
