I having difficulty achieving stereo sound when I use a multi channel audio interface. Basically Zoom sums all to mono.

When I use a standard small 2 channel interface, Zoom works in stereo.

Is there a way to set Zoom to use two specific outputs from a multi channel interface for stereo sound ?

When I send an invitation to one particular  person, I make sure the camera is on for both host and recipient. however when the recipient joins my meeting, I can't see them. They tell me that they have a message saying the host  has stopped their access to the camera.  This problem doesn't happen with anyone else on other meetings

Hi!  I did a few tests this morning, 3 of them for about 10 seconds each, more than 5 hours ago, using microphones and a mixing board as the input and a speaker as output. I work for the government administering important hearings and I need to ensure the recording has picked up the input properly before doing an important recording within the hour!!! The recording is still black in my 'recordings' tab and I feel helpless. PLEASE HELP!

Resolved! Help Needed: Poor Video Calling Quality on 8GB RAM Laptop During Zoom Meetings

Hey everyone,

I'm seeking some assistance with a frustrating issue I've been experiencing lately. Whenever I attend online classes or meetings via Zoom on my 8GB RAM laptop, I encounter significant problems with video calling quality. The video often appears pixelated, freezes intermittently, and sometimes even disconnects altogether, disrupting my learning experience.

I've tried troubleshooting the problem on my own by checking my internet connection, updating Zoom to the latest version, and adjusting various settings within the application. However, none of these efforts seem to have made a noticeable improvement.

Given that my laptop meets the minimum system requirements for Zoom and has 8GB of RAM, I'm puzzled as to why I'm encountering such poor performance during video calls. Could there be other factors contributing to this issue that I'm overlooking? Is there something specific I should be checking or adjusting to optimize the video calling experience on my laptop?

I've seen some suggestions online about optimizing video calling performance by closing background applications, adjusting video settings within Zoom, and ensuring that my webcam drivers are up to date. However, I'm curious to hear from others who may have encountered similar issues and found effective solutions.

If anyone has experienced poor video calling quality on their 8GB RAM laptop during Zoom meetings or other video conferencing platforms, I'd greatly appreciate any insights or advice you can offer. Whether it's specific settings tweaks, hardware upgrades, or alternative solutions you've discovered, I'm open to trying anything that might help alleviate this frustrating problem.

Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to hearing from the community!

Best regards,

DanielleMorris

Hello everyone.  On several Zoom meetings that I have attended, I have noticed that they have customized the "Waiting for host to start meeting" screen.  This is NOT the same as doing custom waiting room messages.  This is the screen you see when you are waiting to be admitted to the meeting.  The customization is basic information about the meeting, etc.  Does anyone know how to do this?  One group that know is in need as they want to alert people to the time change between the US and Europe.

I have a basic ZOOM account and all of sudden I'm unable to log in unless I use an authentication app ( I don't even know which app!) or a back up code. I've already used (2) of the back up codes provided but I can't use one every single time I need to sign in. This is frustrating because there is no security option to change this. Can any one tell me which app I'm supposed to be using? Did Zoom just do this is to basic users?  Thanks!
