When I receive a invitation for a meeting in Zoom it always shows a wrong place and time, for example I live in London and in the invitation appears Sao Paulo/Brazil. I'm not sure if the problems is related to any settings in my machine or in my zoom settings. Does anyone know why it's happening? Thank you.

Hi, I have a problem with Zoom installed on a laptop with Windows 11 operating system:
When I use Zoom, no sound is produced from the computer's speakers or any other sound means (even though they are connected and working properly and work with all the other applications on the computer).
The speakers do work on zoom when I disable the "let desktop apps access your microphone" option in Windows "privacy and safety settings" of the zoom microphone - but then there is a zoom sound - but the microphone is not active...

It should be noted that when I perform "TEST SPEAKERS AND MIC" - sometimes the test sound is heard for about a second and then disappears (this happens with all possible sound sources on the computer - headphones, built-in speakers, external speakers).

What to do to solve the problem?
I would be happy to get an idea from someone who has experienced the problem

It seems like the latest zoom version for ubuntu (6.3.10) still suffers from a substantial memory leak.
When I start a meeting, every time I start/stop my camera, the memory usage goes up by about 2-5MB.
Every cycle of  "start screen share -> stop screen share " increases memory demand between 50 and 200 MB.
Just sitting in a meeting with 2 colleagues for 30 minutes had zoom go from ~1GB of memory in the beginning to a total of 5GB...
Ending the meeting (zoo process still running) does not free any of this memory.
The only "sensible" way to use zoom on a Linux system seems to be to use the browser, where at least the leak isn't that bad, but there are leaks as well (especially when screen sharing).

I know that zoom can work with reasonable memory amounts on windows. Why is it so hard to make this also work on linux systems...

Does anyone have good suggestions what could be done here?

A client is  having a recurring issue with an Outlook invite sent once per month.
It is an Outlook calendar invite with a Zoom meeting and it is sent to about 100 people.
This month and a few months ago one of the people invited to the meeting 'cancelled' it and it cancelled the invite for everyone. I'm not sure how this is possible since client is the organizer, any help with this would be great!

We've been reading and searching for days for an answer but couldn't find it.
We have a Pro account with 3 licences and 5 Basic users. Each of us runs weekly classes for the public and we were wondering how to navigate correctly without breaking zoom rules. Classes do not overlap.

Is it possible to have the same link for all the classes on the confirmation email to the client?

Is it possible for each of us to use the same link week after week to run a class? (40 minutes for the Basic and unlimited for the licensed)

That would be great otherwise I'll have to add manually a link for every class every day.... or, is there something we missed?? Thank you for your suggestions!

zoom "automatically adjust microphone volume" setting is missing

Every time I talk normal in a meeting Zoom automatically lowers my micro volume to a level I cannot even be heard. I keep having to manually re-adjust the level. I see some forums suggesting disabling zoom the "automatically adjust microphone volume"... Show more

Every time I talk normal in a meeting Zoom automatically lowers my micro volume to a level I cannot even be heard. I keep having to manually re-adjust the level.  I see some forums suggesting disabling zoom the "automatically adjust microphone volume" setting. But I do not have this setting in my audio tab. Zoom is completely unusable for me at this point. How can I resolve this?

Since I quit Zoom between meetings, every time I join a new meeting via clicking on a Zoom link in my calendar, this window pops up:

I do not use this window. I do not want this window to appear simply because I joined a meeting. I close this window every single time it opens.

 

Is there anything I can do to prevent this window from opening every time I join a meeting?

Hi all. I am a tutor, and I have been using Zoom on my ipad for years. Recently, when sharing a worksheet from my files, the annotations from my students appear in the wrong spot on both screens. This is so frustrating. I have tried all the bot solutions, and I even purchased a new ipad, thinking my device was the problem. I never had a problem before the new year. Any help would be appreciated.

Never had a problem with zoom program (installed about 3 years ago) until this week. Instability of the frame showing me started right after the recent update automatically installed itself. The problem manifests in at least 2 different ways: 1. frame with me in it starts flickering, usually with a couple of parallel streaks across the top; 2. another person on the zoom call also appears in my frame. I can arrest the problem by disabling live video, and reverting to the photo of myself that zoom keeps on my computer. Then, I can switch back to live video, and it may remain stable for a minute or two and then revert to flickering; or it may remain stable much longer (most recently at least half an hour  when that particular zoom call ended). Any suggestions? Can I fall back to a previous version, and if so how do I do that?
