i just randomly had this start happening on my zoom. it's NOT my computer as i have FaceTime turned off and never used on my computer. it has nothing to do with my mac. i googled found the instructions on how to turn them off and found they were turned on (without my permission) and i turned them off. well they still are happening i film class content on zoom and when i am 45 minutes into a class and then this weird thumbs up appears on the screen it is a major issue and is ruining my video content! now i search for the gesture recognition term and it has magically disappeared from all settings so you cannot even find it. but it is still happening and it is not my computer that needs fixing. i need help with this- as it's creating issues with my classes and i am having to cut and edit videos which sucks thanks

Has anyone had it where the newest updates (5.13.7+) make your Gesture Recognition stuck ON? I've tried to toggle the option (menu caret next to GESTURES in bottom menu bar) to ON (checked), then OFF (unchecked)...and no matter what I do, the Zoom client will recognize my hands and change them to large "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" cartoonish emoji handshapes - full palm, Index finger (light bulb), Thumbs-Up, and Peace. I cannot turn them off OR on: 1) In a Zoom meeting, 2) Through the Zoom settings (in windows app, currently with ver. 5.13.11), or 3) Through a browser (Chrome, logged into zoom.us)! I need to find out HOW to turn the emojis OFF, as I use sign language (ASL) in Zoom meetings! People can't understand me if my hands flash into freakishly cartoony emoji hands! HELP!!!!

I generally attend a lot of zoom meetings throughout the week. and have had no problems. Lately when I use the supplied link, I have been receiving a message that says something like "do you want to leave the meeting you are on?" before being redirected to the zoom host's meeting, but I am not on a meeting when receiving the message. Did my settings get reset and or how do i set my account up to not receive this message.

how to turn off sound when muting and unmuting in basic. Sound for when member joins/leaves is toggled off.
I see this pretty consistently in the Web UI: - In a meeting, have people chat (enough for the chat pane to scroll) - Make sure there are replies to chat messages in threads - Scroll to the bottom of the chat pane (or be anywhere really, including scroll up and down while the next step happens) - Have someone else add a chat message anywhere - Observer that chat pane jumps up automatically every time there is a new message It looks like Zoom is _trying_ to keep the chat pane focused on the same place when it refreshes with new messages, but miscalculates the scroll position. Given that the jump is always upwards, it's almost as if it doesn't take the reply-in-threads into account when calculating scroll position.

I am 2 weeks new to Zoom Pro. When I am in a chat and want to share a document on my MacBook Air, the documents I have saved on the desktop (or anywhere else for that matter) is not......Active or clickable. I see the dim figure of the files (usually pdf) but I am not allowed to click and submit them. They are inactive for some reason. (my best description). A little help? Thanks

The app used to be connected to my Google calendar, but now it is asking me if I want to add a calendar. When I try to add my Google calendar I get stuck in a circular loop. It says that Google is blocking access. Anyone else have this issue?
I am using Zoom 5.17.11 on my Lenovo Yoga laptop. In meetings with multiple participants, when in gallery view, the displays for the individual participants are totally distorted on my screen and shrunken to the upper left so that I can't see their faces at all. This is only happening for my display and not others on the call. My camera is working, as the videos look normal when someone comes into speaker view, or when I use other apps. So it seems like an issue within Zoom itself. Anyone know how to fix this?

Since upgrading to Sonoma, I have lost access to sub-menus on the meeting control bar. I can access *most* options by right clicking in the window, but have lost access to breakout rooms, and other options in the "more" button on the right.
Briefly for a day or two all menus were accessible when I updated Zoom. SInce then, though, subsequent updates have made the menus inaccessible (they appear briefly but disappear before I can click on one).
I have done all the things multiple times...uninstalled and reinstalled zoom twice, taken all the updates, checked permissions (camera and mic are working fine) and rebooted multiple times.
I can't find any info on this issue beyond what I've done. Surely I'm not the only one with this issue? Also, can't figure out how to reach zoom tech support. Can't seem to get beyond the chat bot.
Ideas anyone?
