Zoom app no longer connected to my Google Calendar

The app used to be connected to my Google calendar, but now it is asking me if I want to add a calendar.  When I try to add my Google calendar I get stuck in a circular loop.  It says that Google is blocking access.  Anyone else have this issue?

I am using Zoom 5.17.11 on my Lenovo Yoga laptop. In meetings with multiple participants, when in gallery view, the displays for the individual participants are totally distorted on my screen and shrunken to the upper left so that I can't see their faces at all. This is only happening for my display and not others on the call. My camera is working, as the videos look normal when someone comes into speaker view, or when I use other apps. So it seems like an issue within Zoom itself. Anyone know how to fix this?

Since upgrading to Sonoma, I have lost access to sub-menus on the meeting control bar. I can access *most* options by right clicking in the window, but have lost access to breakout rooms, and other options in the "more" button on the right.
Briefly for a day or two all menus were accessible when I updated Zoom. SInce then, though, subsequent updates have made the menus inaccessible (they appear briefly but disappear before I can click on one).
I have done all the things multiple times...uninstalled and reinstalled zoom twice, taken all the updates, checked permissions (camera and mic are working fine) and rebooted multiple times.
I can't find any info on this issue beyond what I've done. Surely I'm not the only one with this issue? Also, can't figure out how to reach zoom tech support. Can't seem to get beyond the chat bot.
Ideas anyone?

Also, if you don't provide LIVE support, why don't you enable users to download an update in an easy way? The popup says I need to reach out to the IT team to be able to use the application, but I'm not able to contact the IT team, because you don't provide support. How am I supposed to use the application then? This has happened to me for the second time.

Last week, on Tuesday, 29 April, I used Zoom for the first time in several months and I noticed some new problems. When I clicked on the "Join meeting" link provided in the email, I was taken to the "Join meeting" page, as usual, and received a popup asking if I would like Firefox to open zoommtg links with System Handler (I used elementaryOS). Usually, it would ask if I would like it to open zoommtg links with Zoom client *OR* System Handler. When I choose System Handler, now, nothing happens! System Handler fails to open and Zoom client does not launch.

No problem, I can just manually select the application that zoommtg links will open with. But wait, this is a problem, since the Zoom application is well-hidden deep within my files somewhere (and it is intentionally difficult / impossible to find). So no, I can not manually select the application that zoommtg links will open with.

I have done several clean installs to make sure there are no versions of Zoom lingering which may be causing problems. I even installed all missing dependencies so that I could install via the recommended zoom_amd64.deb distributed from the Zoom download webpage, itself. Finally, I checked if these zoommtg links launch the Zoom client when I used a different browser and, indeed, Chromium was able to launch the Zoom client and connect me to the correct meeting.

As Firefox is my preferred browser, is it possible to fix this? I was given a meeting URL but no meeting code, which made joining the meeting via Zoom client impossible to do just using Firefox. It's not the end of the world, but it's pretty inconvenient, especially considering that older versions of Zoom did not have this same problem.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help. When I'm in a meeting everything is being audio-described to me out loud (chat messages, people arriving and leaving etc) which I think means my 'screen reader' settings are on and I don't want them to be.

However, when I'm trying to find how to turn them off it seems to be in the 'accessibility' tab. I can't find one of these, and my settings menu on zoom open in my browser looks different to the examples I've seen online, with no accessibility tab.

I've tried to download the latest version thinking I may be working off an old version but the hasn't helped. I'm using a MacBook and opening zoom through safari.

Any ideas on how I might find the accessibility tab and stop the audio description?!

Many thanks
