Hi. I recorded a Zoom meeting on cloud while I was using the free version. Now, I really need to rewatch that recording. Could I access the cloud recording once I have made payments? The meeting was less than 24 hours ago.

After the Zoom server issue yesterday, we found that some accounts became unusable. We are using Zoom Workplace and conduct chats and meetings through Team Chat, without using meeting links.

Although affected users can log in normally, we cannot send messages or start meetings with their accounts. We have tried all possible troubleshooting steps such as rebooting, checking for updates, and reinstalling, but nothing worked — we had to create new accounts in order to continue our meetings.

When we send a message to an affected account, we receive a notification saying “The user does not exist.” However, the account still appears online and even shows as “In a meeting.”

We also asked the affected users to send us messages or initiate meetings, but that didn’t work either — the connection failed, and messages could not be delivered.

Could anyone please advise if there is a fix for this issue or if Zoom is aware of an ongoing problem related to this?

Resolved! I DON'T WANT ZOOM WORKPLACE - how do I turn it off?

I went into my Zoom today, which I use for personal reasons to stay in touch with family. I opened on my desktop, per usual, signed in, and it immediately took me to "Zoom Workplace" and all my scheduled meetings were gone. I had to go onto Zoom's website and login to my account there in order to find them. 

 

I do not want Zoom workplace.  I do not want to be charged for Zoom workplace. I don't want to have to sign in through the website. If I find out I'm being charged extra for a service I neither wanted nor use, I'm cancelling my account and moving to another online meeting platform. 

 

Does anyone know how to switch back, or have experienced this?

Most of the time, I experience this issue during scheduled Zoom meetings initiated via the Neat Pad to an LCD screen.
The host can see invited participants on their laptop through Zoom, but cannot see the same participants on the external screen connected via the Neat Pad, even though all settings in Zoom and on the Neat Pad appear to be correct.

What could be the reason?

Presence status stuck on “Offline”

My Zoom account has been stuck showing “Offline” for several days.
Both I and my contacts see each other as offline, and my status cannot be changed manually.

I have already tried the following steps, but the issue persists:

• Signed out and signed back in
• Selected “Sign Me Out From All Devices” on the web
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the app
• Restarted my device
• Checked both Wi-Fi and mobile data connections
Despite all of this, my account still shows “Offline” and I can’t join or host meetings properly.

Even when I try to manually set my status to "Available" from the status settings, nothing happens.
When I log in through the Zoom website, I see a red message next to my profile that says "Not connected."

Does anyone know how to fix this?
I really need this resolved before Thursday afternoon, as I have to use Zoom for class again.
Please help!

Hello, I’d like to ask about a technical issue that happened during a one-on-one Zoom class in January 2025.

Here are the details:

  • It was a 1:1 class with only the instructor and me.

  • The instructor joined with two different Zoom accounts – one for sharing a PowerPoint (PPT) and another for speaking as the presenter.

  • I also joined using two of my own Zoom accounts – one on my PC and one on my iPad.

  • During the class, the instructor said that the profile picture of my PC account displayed the “OBS” logo, and they assumed I was recording the session.

  • However, I was not recording, and OBS Studio was not installed or running on my computer at that time.

For your reference, I used OBS Studio a few years ago during the COVID-19 period to record casual online meetings with friends, but it has not been installed on my current computer for a long time.

I would like to clarify the following points:

  1. Can Zoom automatically display a third-party application logo (like OBS) as a participant’s profile picture under any circumstances?

  2. If OBS Studio was previously installed and then uninstalled, could any leftover settings or virtual camera drivers cause Zoom to show the OBS logo?

  3. Does Zoom have any feature that replaces or overrides a user’s chosen profile image with an external program’s logo?

This misunderstanding has caused a dispute, so I’d really appreciate your technical confirmation regarding whether such a situation is technically possible in Zoom.

Zoom app on phone not connecting

I have an android Samsung A13 phone and have been using zoom everyday no issues. Then suddenly 3 days ago zoom stopped loading the meetings. When I click on the meeting link, it just rolls around in circles and then times out with this error code: 11... Show more

I have an android Samsung A13 phone and have been using zoom everyday no issues.  Then suddenly 3 days ago zoom stopped loading the meetings.   When I click on the meeting link, it just rolls around in circles and then times out with this error code: 11028000

 

Steps I have already taken to troubleshoot with no success:

Uninstall and reinstall - did that about 5 times

 

Go to zoom app and allow microphone,  camera, battery to run as long as needed,  allow notifications - none of these made a difference 

 

Connected to a different wifi on my phone to test the connection, not an issue with the connection, something with the zoom app

 

Turned phone off, made sure updates were good

 

Tried to manually enter a zoom meeting ID to get into the meeting - didn't work

 

Tried to contact zoom support but I have a basic plan so they won't connect me to live support.  The chat bot did not help to resolve the issue.

 

Version of zoom on phone is 6.5.11.32752

 

If anyone has any suggestions how to male the app work again I would greatly appreciate it.

Not seeing answer to question I asked in registration

I added a question that people must answer when they register for a meeting but it's not showing up when I view the registrants.
