Presentation view changes size at random in app?

Hello! I'm hoping someone might know a fix for this issue I'm having. For background, I use the Zoom app on my iPad and it's updated to the latest version.

When I am viewing someone else's screen share presentation (with the floating speaker on top of it, if that makes a difference) the presentation window will, seemingly at random, shrink down and leave a tall dark grey bar on the right side of the screen. It's almost like the app thinks I've opened the participants/chat window, but it doesn't display any content on top of the grey background color. Sometimes the screen will appear normally if I open the participants/chat window, but other times the screen will shrink even further upon opening it. The participants/chat will appear on the right side, the presentation/speaker on the left, and a grey bar in the middle. If it appears normally, it typically shrinks down again anyway after some time. This just happened in my current call.

Does anyone know why this might be happening and how to fix it? Please let me know if any additional info would be helpful.

When I create a new meeting, and type in the topic, it frequently defaults to a previous topic I used several years ago. Also, if I go to a meeting I've already scheduled, including a recurring meeting, and make a change somewhere in the settings, the topic default back to the same old topic. I used several years ago. It seems to be stuck in that somehow as a default, although it's no longer relevant. I've not been able to find any articles which address this.

Please make the necessary changes to validate your downloaded zoom files to avoid false negatives.

This is odd because actually the DD79 B481 key was the *new* key after 11/1/22, and that is still the signing key available for download on the page. Why is this message saying there is actually a different key ending in 2047 091F that should be used?

When I try to join meetings that last 2 hours, the desktop app works just fine.

If I try joining a meeting that lasts 4 hours, the app crashes once. Then it automatically retries and crashes again, then gives up. I noticed the error log is always the same though, I'll leave it at the end of the post.

It seems the app tries to run on my Intel integrated graphics, which has up-to-date drivers (and didn't work with older drivers either), despite me trying to make it run on my NVIDIA RTX 3050 for laptops in several ways - via the NVIDIA control panel and through Windows as well.

If I deactivate my Intel integrated graphic card and force the whole system to use the NVIDIA GPU, the error doesn't occur, but of course I don't want to completely turn off my integrated graphics card just for using Zoom. My 2nd monitor actually depends on the integrated graphics cards so I can't use it if it's off.

I tried a clean installation of Zoom 6.3.10 and also tried the immediately older version from November 2024, but neither work. I disabled the hardware acceleration mode from the options as well, with no avail.

My PC's manifacturer is MSI, and I know about MSI Afterburner problems, but I don't have it installed and never had it on my PC either. Same with PowerToys.

Here's the crash log:

We are trying to use Zoom via ProPresenter.  The instructions was to set up a windows pc and bring up zoom.  After bringing up zoom change the audio and video to NDI.  Changing it to a NDI setting helps us communicate to the other PC with ProPresenter.  When I change it from webcam to NDI I can't see myself.  I can only see the name of the computer.  What do I need to do in Zoom settings for video to see the speaker after I join into a zoom meeting using NDI?

Zoom on Android and iOS Not Recognizing External Microphones

Hello Zoom Community,

I recently purchased the Hollyland LARK M2 wireless microphones, and they work perfectly on my Android device in general. However, when I try to use them in Zoom (Android and iOS), the app does not recognize them as an available microphone option. Instead, Zoom defaults to using the built-in microphone of my phone, with no way to manually select the LARK M2 as the primary audio input.

Steps I've Tried:

1. Verified that the LARK M2 is properly connected before launching Zoom.
2. Checked Zoom's microphone permissions in Android and iOS settings.
3. Tested the microphones in other apps (they work fine).
4. Updated both the Zoom app and the LARK M2 firmware.
5. Tried third-party recording apps that allow selecting external microphones (which work).

The Problem:

Unlike on a PC, where Zoom allows selecting different microphone inputs, the mobile version of Zoom seems to lack an option to manually select an external microphone. This is frustrating because many content creators and professionals rely on external audio solutions for better sound quality.

Questions for the Zoom Team & Community:

Is there any way to force Zoom to use an external microphone (LARK M2) on mobile devices?
Are there any plans to add a feature that allows manual microphone selection in Zoom for Android/iOS?
Has anyone found a workaround or third-party solution to override the phone’s default microphone setting for Zoom?

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best,

ysmaracaibo

There is a kind of "hint" message that displays along the upper corner of the application window, which is impeding upon my ability to work.  the message displayed, "Drag to desktop 2 to share" is obstructing my view.

I have a 4-monitor screen set-up, and (while hosting) I'm sharing all windows from a particular application.  The application I've chose to share has multiple windows across all four monitor screens.   I understand to "Share all windows from an application" means I'm required to determine which one of my four monitors will be used to share any windows associated with this app.  I've chose to use "Desktop 2."

Although Zoom doesn't allow me to share multiple monitor screens at once (which I would certainly prefer over sharing multiple app windows in a single screen, since squeezing my 4-monitor workflow into a single monitor is not conducive for displaying my productivity "live" so to speak), I do still appreciate that Zoom allows me some freedom in choosing-at-will the app windows I want to share.  With that said, I don't need the hint to remain displayed.  How do we hide it?  In my case, I'd like to simply prevent it from appearing at all, since I'm already aware of the functionality for sharing app windows.

I've provided a screenshot of the instance, here.  Thank you!

Is there a human at Zoom?

The suggestions haven't worked. The issue is simple.

Is there any human there who is willing to help me? With ACTUAL customer service?

It's not that big an issue. It shouldn't require this much effort to get it solved.

Thanks.
