Sharing cursor

Hi! I enabled the "share cursor" on my preferences, but on the application itself (Mac), when I screen share, I don't see the button for allowing a participant to share control of the cursor. Has anybody succeeded in using this feature? Thanks! Show more

I've used zoom and had it connected to my outlook email server account for years.  A few weeks ago we received a message that it was not connected to the email server and we couldn't schedule meetings in my calendar anymore.   I don't believe it's ever asked for this EWS server before, but we input the EWS server exactly as we were told by our tech support and I'm still getting the same error message.    Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Error: Zoom could not log into the calendar service account.
If your Exchange server is undiscoverable from the internet, you can also input your calendar resource (your email address) to sync up your calendar.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks,

Get rid of admitting participants.

Hello.

During Zoom meetings, I see a message on screen indicating my account has one follower, and I am asked whether to terminate the meeting.

How do I find out which accounts are following me? How do I remove account followers?

I am posting this question because I was unable to find this documented elsewhere. My apologies in advance if this turns out to be redundant.

Thank you very much.

I wonder if there is a solution to our challenge.

We are a charity that offers support to professionals whose roles have been made redundant. We meet (via Zoom) every Monday evening. We have up to 20 new members and approx 40 existing members join our Zoom meetings. When we publish our meetings, we ask members to register to the Zoom meeting first. We therefore know by the time the meeting starts who is likely to attend.

The first part of the meeting (30 minutes) is to split attendees into 2 Breakout Rooms (one for Induction for new members and the other for Networking for existing members).

During the registration process we ask whether members are new or existing to make it easier for the Zoom Host to assign members to the correct breakout room. This process, however, can be daunting when 30-40 members join the meeting at 7pm and need to be assigned manually.

My question:

Could the information we collect during registration (email address and whether induction or networking room is required)  be used to automatically pre-assign members to their desired Breakout Room rather than doing it manually?

Thank You

Wolfgang

I am an instructor that has recorded many lectures and I store the lectures in the Zoom recording cloud.  I then share the links to each chapter recording with students enrolled in online learning.  I am required to keep track of a students hours spent in various online tools and the Zoom lectures are one of our most popular tools.  When I open the recording analytics for the recordings on the cloud I only see the viewer as "Guest."  What I need to see is the viewers email address so I know how is actually viewing each recording and for how long.  How can I change the parameter so I see the the viewers email address?

Thank you for your help,

Debi
