Audio in Zoom workplace.

I got automatically upgraded to zoom workplace. I used to be able to share audio sound only in the old version on desktop but now I can’t seem to share audio on its own without the screen. The advanced button to share audio is gone. How can I share just an audio in the background? Or can I go back to the old version? It’s beginning to be problematic in my meetings.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, there's no going back to the old version. We made a few changes in the UI but rest assured that our users, you included will get a hang of it. To answer your question, you can still share Audio only in the background. During the meeting, just click on the green Share button, click on Advanced, then Computer Audio, then click the Share button.

Im having the same issue. When I click the share button I don't have an option for advanced and my screen does not look like that. I have to end up sharing the screen Im on to share sound. Please help. I wish I could disable zoom workplace....

The share sound is only available on Zoom desktop client for Windows, macOS, or Linux: Global minimum version or higher, and Zoom Web App in the Chrome web browser. 

If you are using any of the above, we would advise updating it to the latest version and if it does still give you the advanced option when screen sharing please reinstall the app. You can follow this article on how to clean uninstall the Zoom App.
