Hi. I have a tech company and when we do demos, I typically have my 34" screen set up with 3-4 windows. 1 shows my android for one app we have on left side, middle shows my web portal, and the right screen shows my iphone for another app we have and i'm able to show how all three work in sych. Is there a way to do this over Zoom? Also, I often have a few powerpoint slides and I want to see the audience at the same time so i can see their reactions. So essentially, possible 3-5 screens with an android and iphone being 2 of those.  Thank you so much!

After between 45 - 90 minutes of meeting time, as an attendee with someone using a full license, I get a blue filter (this is NOT the BSOD) that covers my display and which limits y ability to see properly, almost like looking at a film negative, link to photo of screen when having problem:

I can continue to attend the meeting and my own camera visual seems to be ok.

Anyone experienced this?

Camera freezes while in meetings with Mac OS 14.5

Hi,

I'm transitioning to a Mac M2 Studio (OS 14.5) from an Intel iMacPro (OS 13.6.7) - same Logitech 4K Brio camera. I had a meeting this morning and just before the meeting I opened Zoom and was told there was an update for Apple Silicon, which I did (Version: 6.0.11 (35001)). Immediately my camera was black, it wouldn't turn on. When toggled the video on switch it would work for a brief instance and  refreeze so it in effect created a screen cap pic. I was able to get audio during the session.

  • I know Sonoma (14.5) has been a bit of a hot mess and has strict security - but I think I've set everything properly with security permissions. BUT MAYBE I'VE MISSED SOMETHING?
  • I've restarted the app, restarted the computer (both multiple times) - to no avail
  • The camera works with FaceTime and PhotoBooth (and it worked before with Zoom on OS 13.x)
  • Audio works fine through my my audio interface
  • I tried downloading the installer from Zoom and reinstalling, nope.
  • I have it set properly (on, blue) for the following under Privacy & Security: microphone, camera, for Documents & Downloads under Files & Folder,  I DID NOT GIVE ZOOM FULL DISK ACCESS AS I NEVER HAVE AND DO NOT WANT TO (is that the problem?),  it's set to on for Screen & System Audio Recording
  • I have two identical Dell 2723QE monitors on the Mac Studio (I had the iMacPro monitor plus a 2nd 24" Dell running as dual monitors with the same Logitec Brio previous to the Mac Studio)
  • It seems like it's either a missing/incorrect Sonoma setting or some sort of conflict with this latest Zoom update.

BUT... same Zoom build on the same OS works on my 13" M1 MacBook Pro right now.

Anybody running into this as well?

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks,

Joel

Registration cut off time?

Is there a deadline for participants to register for the webinar....for example, if the meeting starts at 1:00pm- do they have until 12:59pm (one minute before), 12:00pm (1 hour before), etc before not being after to join the meeting in progress....?

When I clicked on Settings and scrolled to Virtual Background, I was able to add and save 2 additional Background Images, but I can't figure out how to add them to my background during meetings (despite reading articles and watching YouTube videos). I started a test meeting and clicked on the lower left 'Stop Video' and clicked on 'Virtual Image'. All I saw was 'NONE' with a black image and 'BLUR.' There were no other options. I would appreciate someone helping me with this issue. Thank you!
