Zoom doesn't start on Windows 11

Hi guys! I've been having an isssue with Zoom on Windows 11. It only starts just after the install but once i exit it, it never wants to start again. I tried everything, running it as an administrator, various fixes i found on the internet but nothing seems to make it work. Also i found out, that it works perfectly fine on the administrator account on the same computer. The only way to use it is to uninstall and reinstall it every time i need it, which is getting kinda annoying. Hope someone had a similar problem and knows how to fix it 🙂

If you try to restart it, what happens?

 

I am thinking that there might be a security program or anti-virus blocking it. You might need to give Zoom permission to run.

If you keep having issues, reach out to Zoom tech support.

Tried that, but still doesn't work 😕

This works for me:

1. Uninstall the latest 64-bit ZOOM Workplace 6.1.6;

2. Run Cleanzoom;

3. Download and install 32-bit ZOOM Workplace 6.1.6. ZOOM launches again.

Hopefully, ZOOM Support will soon find the 64-bit version bug and then let us know.
