On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Sound not working since zoom update

Since the update to workspace, now when I'm on a zoom call and there is music being played by the host, zoom muffles the sound completely, however I can hear voices when poeple speak. Also strange when I do test my speaker once joined the zoom call - the sound is just almost a 'thud' or plays half the little zoom ring tone then almost completely mutes it.

 

I've tried using speakers, headphones and trying all the audio settings on zoom with all the different noise cancellation settings to no avail. 

 

It seems to be a zoom problem, I have no issues listening to any music etc on any program on my computer.

 

Any ideas?

The HOST needs to turn on "Original audio".

Thanks, we tried the host adjusting settings but it is only me on the calls that has any issues

We have the same issue. We had to roll back to a 5 version atm to get it working.

 

So frustrating! How do you go back to the old version?
