I really dislike the new layout after the update - I only use recurring meetings that aren't on a set date. Now in the desktop app all of my meetings are hidden away and it shows a useless (for me) empty calendar 😞
 
How do I easily view all of my recurring meetings in the desktop app? Where are the options settings to choose what gets displayed? How do I turn off this calendar feature??

Hello there,

I've been looking around like crazy why I can no longer share my iPad or iPhone screen anymore on my Zoom (desktop) I've done this successfully for over 3 years but suddenly the option doesn't exist anymore?
There are no more button for sharing iPhone or iPad screen, neither with cable or screen mirroring.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you.

"Aw, Snap!" page crashed when trying to connect to Zoom meeting from "Join from your browser"

Hi,

 

I'm trying to connect to zoom meeting from browser.

After insert my name and click on "Join", the "AW, Snap!" exception occurred and page crushed.

 

How can I solve this?

I’ve noticed that Zoom chat history is no longer being stored locally on my system. This feature has been working reliably for years, but for about a month now, no chat history is saved. Previously, the chat files would appear under ~/Documents/Zoom, but no new folders are being created, and the history is missing.

I’m experiencing this issue on two separate laptops, both running Ubuntu 22.04. This is a significant concern for me, as I rely on the chat history to grade student participation in my classes. I only realized the issue after my first class, and I’m hoping it can be resolved before my next class on Thursday.

External Webcam Not Working on Zoom - Black Screen

My external webcam was working fine with Zoom for months and then all of a sudden sometime in the past two weeks, it stopped working and instead my video is a black screen to participants and to myself. I tested this same external webcam with Google Meets and it's working fine on Google Meets so it's definitely something with Zoom.

 

My built in Mac Air laptop camera does work with Zoom but I cannot use it for meetings because it is damaged and I look blurry which is why I have been using the external webcam these past few months for Zoom meetings.

 

I tried the following to troubleshoot: uninstall/reinstall Zoom, upgrade my Mac software, restart computer, go into Zoom video settings to check everything; check my privacy/security settings to make sure Zoom has access to my camera.

Anyone else have a similar issue or know how to resolve?

Hi All - I have had a very frustrating experience, where my airpods appear to be connected to my computer and work initially during a zoom call but will stop transmitting audio after a few minutes. They still appear to be paired and connected to my computer and still even show up as an option within the zoom audio settings, but will not function properly. This is an issue across other airpods - not just one in particular. It also only happens during a zoom call, audio works fine while watching youtube/netflix for example.

 

Are there any settings that we need to be aware of that should help fix this? I have tried all of the other suggested items, such as disconnecting from other devices etc.  It is very clear to me that this is a zoom only issue.

I use cloud recording very frequently to sell my classes. I find it very practical and convenient to use the recorded class registration form, so that people who buy my classes can register, and then I approve access when payment has been made.

 

What is not practical is to see the report of the people registered, and I find it tedious to have to search for a particular registration as the information is displayed in no particular order.

 

I propose as an improvement: that the registration report be sorted from the most recent date to the oldest date of registration (as default). That alone would be much more practical when searching for an enrollee.

 

If possible: the registration report could be sorted by name, last name, email or registration date.
