Dear community members, 

 

I'd like to confirm on the following scenarios for zoom recordings. 

 

1. For all zoom software versions with recording function, is it possible for the host to have a recording of a zoom meeting if he allows a participant to record at her end and the host didn't press the recording button at his end at all?

 

2. For all zoom software versions with recording function, is it possible for the host to have a recording of a zoom meeting if he allows a participant to record at her end for the first part of the meeting and in the second part the host starts recording at his end? Does it matter if the participant is in a breakout room when the recording starts and didn't stop recording and later on goes to the main room where the host then starts recording? 

 

3. Under what circumstances will the host have a recording of a meeting session other than when the host clicks on the recording button on his end?

 

Your help on this is much appreciated.

HI Everyone. Happy Monday.

Preparing for an upcoming International conference requiring sign language and discovered the latest version of Zoom 5.12.3 with the Sign Language enable is limited to allowing 2 interpreters max. As interpreters work in pairs I need 6 interpreters to sign, ASL, ISL and FSL. I will also have 6 audio Interpreters. How can I configure my Meeting to handle more than 1 Sign Language? Good day,

I am a sign language interpreter and experienced a difficulty with being re-assigned the Sign Language interpreter status after temporarily leaving the Zoom room. 

 

It seems that once the Zoom conference call is in progress, if a Sign Language interpreter (who has successfully been assigned interpreter status) leaves the Zoom call and returns they cannot be reassigned Sign Language Interpreter status. 

 

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a general problem or a problem on an individual level?

Why in the choices of interpretation of sign language, we do not find the "Lanque des Signe Québécoise (LSQ)" It would be important to add it because our deaf interlocutor does not recognize themselves in the choice of sign language .

Could you add it to the choices please.

The GALLERY option not playing on RECORDINGS

When I send the recording link to my clients after using GALLERY option it only shows them, not me. 

What is wrong? Why can't they see us both?

Can alternative host start meeting after host account is disabled

If a host assigns an alternative host to a meeting, and the host's account is disabled between scheduling and the meeting occurrence, will the alternative host still be able to start the meeting? 

Future scheduled meetings and history is gone

Please help!!!

I went in Friday to send a registration link to someone for a recurring meeting that I have been doing for a couple years and had scheduled up until the end of 2024. I went in yesterday to send the reminders and found there was no meeting. Everything was gone for this particular set of meetings for the future and the past. All of my registrants are gone too. I can see the history of recordings but that's it. Is it possible to find out what happened or to get back what was lost? I am so pissed that if I didn't just renew I would be changing platforms. There is absolutely no support for the pro level. The chatbot was worthless after I spent an hour or two trying all diferent ways to spell out the problem.

I figure someone's gotta know what's going on here. TIA!

Kicked out of zoom while host - no one can get back in because waiting for host to start the meeting

I was in a meeting and got kicked out after 30 minutes. We have a paid account so longer than 40 minutes. When I went back in to open the meeting I get the message "host has another meeting in progress". I don't think anyone else usurped the meeting ... Show more

I was in a meeting and got kicked out after 30 minutes. We have a paid account so longer than 40 minutes. When I went back in to open the meeting I get the message "host has another meeting in progress". I don't think anyone else usurped the meeting and if not, how do I get back in to close out the meeting?

How can I look on the account to see if another meeting is in progress? Nothing is scheduled.
