Changing Zoom Mic settings on iPad

When I use Zoom on my computer and connect my bluetooth headphones (which also have a mic), I am able to click the little up arrow on the Mute/Mic button and choose between the mic on my headphonse, which is not that good, and the mic on my computer, which I prefer to use.  However, when I connect my bluetooth headphones to my iPad on Zoom it automatically goes to the mic on the headphones and the little up arrow on the Zoom Mute button is not there.  Is there any way to change to the iPad mic while still listening via the bluetooth headphones?

I don't understand why this is doable on a computer but not on an iPad...

Zoom on iPads doesn’t have the same audio controls as the desktop version, so you can't switch between your iPad's mic and Bluetooth headphones' mic as easily. However, you can try these workarounds:

  1. Control Center: Swipe down to open Control Center, press the audio box, and see if you can select the iPad’s internal mic.

  2. Wired Headphones: Use wired headphones without a mic to default to the iPad's internal mic.

  3. Headphone Settings: Check if your Bluetooth headphones allow disabling the mic while keeping audio.

Unfortunately, Zoom on iPads is more limited in this area compared to computers.

Unfortunately, the option to switch the microphone source directly within the Zoom app, like you can on a computer, isn’t available on iOS devices. But you can opt for a few things like temporarily disconnect the Bluetooth headphones before starting the Zoom call. Once the call is initiated, the iPad mic will be used by default. After joining the meeting, reconnect your Bluetooth headphones. This may allow you to hear the audio through the headphones while using the iPad mic. You can also get premium if needed, I got mine from this. Also, some Bluetooth headphones have settings or apps that allow you to manage audio input/output. Check if your headphones have such an option.
