Resolved! Video not working on chromebook
Hi, the video on zoom does not work on our new chromebook, with a black screen. Tried with zoom pwa and zoom online but still no video. Please help!
I also have a mac and no issues there.

Hello! Could you please tell me why the recording quality is 360? The MacOS system version is higher than 13 and the quality in Zoom app video settings is set to HD. I also have PRO account.
I am doing interviews for a research project, and my university requires a special procedure for video recordings. Is there a way to have video on during the interviews but have nothing but audio saved? I know I can just delete the file with video, but I'm afraid they'll give me grief on that. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have purchased both zoom rooms and cloud room connectors. I have installed the API. Since group 500 doesn't natively support zoom, i still get the same screen as before. I have tried to manually call personal meeting ID, i have tried to use hash tag and add the meeting key etc. but nothing works. When i check room management > Cisco/Polycom Rooms my status is connected and IP address is local IP. Provision status is Provisioned and SIP status is Registered(zoom). Everything seems to be ok. I can not start a meeting neither i can receive a call. Only thing I haven't set up yet is the calendar because we are using yandex and it is not on the list. Do you have any documentation or suggestion that i can follow? Thank you.

Zoom Workplace version 6.1.1.11 (39163) Sonoma 14.4.1 When sharing by clicking on "Share" icon - the user options interface ( Screens Documents Advanced ) appears. The default location apparently follows the last location of the zoom controls bar. However when a replacing share - the default user interface options - appear in the center of the laptop display. This tends to overlaps existing windows which are open. It causes a problem if the overlap is within the border of an existing "Portion of Screen" sharing. Being centrally located, it does not matter where the affected window is shifted on the display as it will overlap somehow. is it possible when have the user options interface appear at the location of the zoom controls bar or be defined by user? Do so will allow arrangements of open windows such that the user interface option overlap can bee avoided.

Can alternate hosts for a meeting (that is scheduled and used for a series of meetings) - go into Zoom settings and change the "Auto Record to Cloud" toggle button? I was certain I had set the meeting to NOT automatically record...and yet I just went in and looked and it was checked. So I'm curious if it was done after the fact or if I simply just missed it.

I am having a continual problem with Zoom with my Surface Pro. When I first enter a meeting, I will see the Zoom meeting window with participants showing, but the Leave Meeting dialog box pops up and the Leave Meeting button is pushed. I have about 1 second before the Leave Meeting window terminates the session. If I try to enter again, the same thing happens. My only solution so far is to uninstall Zoom and reinstall it. I can attend 2 or 3 meetings without the problem happening, but then about the 4th meeting it starts happening again. I can join the meeting on my phone no problem. I am finding I need to uninstall and reinstall Zoom before every meeting to avoid being unable to join the meeting. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hey! I have this problem where this purple icon appears on all my popup Windows when remote access. When my tutor tries to close the windows he can't, it only shows a dropdown menu for me. How do I disable it?
When someone else in a meeting shares their screen, my speaker audio starts crackling/popping. I have no other audio issues in meetings. Device specs (ROG Zephyrus G15): Processor AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz Windows specs: Edition Windows 11 Home Zoom version: 5.15.5 All drivers are up to date. I was previously having a lot of issues with Windows on my computer (and audio crackling on Zoom all the time, no matter what) so I reset the laptop to factory settings only a month ago. Since then, Zoom is working better, however, the audio crackles/pops when someone in the meeting shares a screen (I'm not sure if it happens if I share my own screen-- I don't think I have done that yet.) It's unbearable.
