If I'm on a Zoom meeting and the host shares their screen, I get kicked out of the meeting immediately, then a few seconds later I get reconnected automatically BUt meanwhle I've missed whtat somone is saying.  Sometimes when the host switches from one page to another the same thing happen.  At first I thought it was because I had slow internet and unstable BUT, I've since switched to a different internet company and my speed is quite good and stable.  I did do some research at one point and tried a suggestion of checking some box in my Zoom settings.  It made no difference.  I always update Zoom before every meeting so that's not it.  Any suggestions?

Font on Office 365 Zoom plugin

Hi! I'd love to know how to default the 'Calibri' meeting font to 'Arial' size 10 on my invites (Outlook Zoom plugin), but I could not see any option to change this in the branding settings. Welcoming any ideas how to do this, thanks! Show more

HD Recording issue

Hello, I have "Enable HD" checked and I have "optimize for 3rd party editor" also checked. I did a Zoom interview and recorded it locally. It was myself and one guest (no one else on the call) and it was about 41 minutes in length. The final .mp4 is 252.1 MB and it is not HD. You can see the pixelated video. I noticed the "double_click_to_convert_01.zoom" file is 429.7 MB and the "double_click_to_convert_03.zoom" file is 360.8 MB. I am just wondering if those files have more data at a higher resolution (since they are larger file size) and if there is any way to convert them to allow me to work with higher resolution video. Thank you.

Cobro indebido en tarjeta de crédito

Hola, saludos desde Chile, el día de hoy me percate que desde mayo 2021 zoom me esta cobrando una licencia en mi tarjeta de crédito, y no he contratado el servicio. Requiero que se eliminen los cobros y saber quien está utilizan esa tarjeta.

Hi,

I currently have Office 365 and a Pro paid version of Zoom.

 

I previously customized the text in the Zoom email invitation for Meetings, but now want to update this across all users in my group.  I can't recall how to do this.

 

Under Admin > Account Management > Account Settings > Invitation Email Branding - the only option I'm provided is to update the email invitation for webinars.  I can't see where I can update this for Meetings.

 

Under Admin > Advanced > Branding - There are no options available.

 

I hope that someone can help.  Thank you in advance.

Hosting problems

Hi- I am the host of a non profit group that meets once a week. It has been going fine up till the last 3 weeks. All of a sudden, when I go to start my meeting as the host, it suggests that I am in another meeting and will not let me start my meeting... Show more

Hi- I am the host of a non profit group that meets once a week. It has been going fine up till the last 3 weeks. All of a sudden, when I go to start my meeting as the host, it suggests that I am in another meeting and will not let me start my meeting. I log in and out and in and out and finally after starting late, it will let me in...any ideas on what is happening here and what I may do to prevent this. I am ready to start looking for a more user friendly and less problematic platform. I pay $20 a month for this as a pro account. We only have one re-occuring meeting per week and no others so I am not in another meeting for this message to come up when I am trying to start my meeting. Quite frustrating and no live support to help trouble shoot this. Further, the BOT is zero help. Thanks....

People tell me that I'm freezing when I talk on Zoom meetings. This happens fairly regularly.

 

Platform:

MacBook Pro, i5 quad-core, 16gb RAM

macOS 11.6.1 Big Sur

Dongle w/Logitech webcam & Blue Yeti microphone

 

What we've tried, which seemed to make no difference:

Speed test (fine), upgraded bandwidth (twice) to 400mbps/20mbps, remote testing of line (fine)

Updated macOS to 11.6.1 from 11.6.0.

Replaced router from Spectrum provided to Netgear purchased

Performed disk repair (disk utility) (fine)

Deselected hardware acceleration (advanced video settings)

Deselect "touch up my appearance"

 

Still freezing for others.

 

What we've done since that last meeting (but haven't yet had a chance to test it out enough to reproduce freezing):

Reset NVRAM (twice)

Hardware diagnostic (fine)

Uninstall and reinstall Zoom

 

Other than reverting to two paper cups and a string, is there anything else we might be missing? Thanks in advance for any recommendations. I am convinced there must be a reason and that consistently stable Zoom meetings is possible.

using zoom with dell monitor and Mac mini

I'm trying to use a dell teleconferencing monitor with a Mac mini and having much difficulty. 

Dell is telling me that for the camera and mic in the monitor to work, I must connect the monitor to the Mac in two ways -- HDMI is for the monitor to work, and USB-C is for the camera/mic to send signal back to the Mac. However, it seems that when I do that, the Mac sees two monitors and there is a conflict.

The monitor wants to select the USB-C connection as the default. But the Mac sees that at the secondary connection. So I am forced to change the video input on the monitor every time the computer comes on, or wakes up. 

A call to Apple resulted in telling the Mac to "mirror" the two monitors, but that turned off the camera/mic inputs to the Mac, and thus Zoom cannot work/.

Is this making sense to anyone? Is there any workaround?

Is there any way to see more thumbnails for non-speaking participants when in speaker view? When someone is screen sharing, I can view side-by-side with the shared screen (usually a slide) on the left and many participant thumbnails on the right. However, when I'm in speaker view, it only shows six thumbnails at top, and everyone else is off screen.

 

I like having the speaker be in the center of the screen, larger, and highlighted. However, I hate that this means I can only see six other people.
