Downloading Recording with Captions "Baked on"

Does anyone have any experience with downloading their recording WITH the captions "baked on". Is there a different application or website I need to use to get the captions onto my recording?

I have to attend a lecture or a class, but the image of the presenter is annoying and distracting.  Is there anyway I can turn of the video for the Host/Presenter on my end of Zoom.  Also, is there a way to turn off the video of other participants who are equally distracting?  I don't want to watch them with their tics, eating, scratching themselves.  These are personal distractions that I've encountered with participant AND hosts/presenters.  I need to turn their videos off.  Please HELP!

Full recording after power went out

This is an unusual ask I believe.

 

I was asked to co-host and record a legal proceeding.  I started the recording and minutes later the power went out throughout the city.  My internet went down.

 

I got back online and the meeting had just kept going without me, and the record button was greyed out.  It appears that as I was kicked off, the original host became the owner of the recording.  I had to ask her to pause it at the break.  I then asked her to make me co-host again.

 

My question is, as we exit this meeting is there a strategy we should employ to make sure I get the whole meeting recording?  We are both still online and haven't left the meeting.

Requesting the owner to let guest in meeting even though there is an alternative host

Hi,

I need assistance. We want to request for a vanity URL. I looked for tutorials and articles online but it wasn't much of a help. I can't find the section for vanity URL in our Account Profile.

 

I can only see the following sections: Basic Information, Account Support Information, Registration Pages, Communication Content Storage Location, Transit Data, Link Accounts to an organization.

Hi, I have a pro account and some participants have been unable to join breakout rooms. They get an error message that it has timed out, even though they are trying to join immediately after I open the rooms.  both are just using the link (browser version, not the full app).  Some are joining using work computers and are therefore unable to download the app, how can I resolve this for them?

I have previously created a recurring meeting without a fixed time and added my colleague there as a co-host. How can I give the "ownership" of that event to my colleague? It would be ok to remove my own admin status regarding this meeting because I'm not facilitating these meetings anymore. We don't want to create a new meeting because we have already shared the link with the participants previously and they should be able to use this same link. Right now, my colleague is added as a co-host, but she can't control polls which would be necessary.

previous meetings zoom

hi all

i was using free version of zoom to host my meeting now i need to review my past meeting if i subscribe will i be able to check my previous meetings as i need to know who joined my last session

The Zoom for GSuite Add-on looks like it changes settings incorrectly when you click Update Meeting.

I can schedule for someone else in the Zoom for Gsuite Addon in google calendar. However when I go back in to add an alt host or turn on waiting room or turn off "Only signed in users can join" and click Update Meeting it looks like it changes the me... Show more

I can schedule for someone else in the Zoom for Gsuite Addon in google calendar.  However when I go back in to add an alt host or turn on waiting room or turn off "Only signed in users can join" and click Update Meeting it looks like it changes the meeting Back to Myself.   In the web portal the settings are correct.

 

Dear Zoom, please fix and adequately test this add on!

You are freaking out our assistants who schedule for other people.
