Hello! I'm wondering if it is possible for the Host and Co-host to communicate with each other using the chat feature while they are in separate breakout rooms. For example, can the host (in breakout room 1) send a chat message to the Co-host (in breakout room 2)? That only the Co-host can see? Thanks!

Unfortunately, it appears that this is not a function that is currently possible. You can send broadcast messages back and forth, but everyone would see them. Please follow up and create a feature request here https://zoom.us/feed.

I'll follow up on the feature request, thank you! ~Molly

One way around this might be for both the host/co-host to be logged into the Zoom desktop app, and use the in-app chat function there as kind of a back channel between host and co-host.

That is a helpful suggestion, thank you! ~Molly
