All of a sudden (beginning Monday) without my having done anything in my Zoom settings, I find that when I join a Zoom meeting - as I do every day for work - I have to manually click on the "Start Video" button at the bottom left of my desktop screen (See attached screen cap 1). My video used to start automatically when I joined a meeting... now it doesn't. WHY? WHAT HAPPENED? How do I make my video being ON the default state when I join a meeting?

 

(See attached screen caps 2, 3a, 3b) Note that I do not have a check in the box on the Video tab of settings that says "Turn off my video when joining a meeting." That option is NOT selected.

 

So, why is my video not ON when I join a meeting? This is extremely frustrating.

How do I change the default name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting? Of course, I can click on the three dots and Rename, but I don't want to do this every single time I join a meeting. I went to Settings/ Profile / Edit My Profile, which launched a web page, then selected Profile, but the name listed under "Display Name" on this page is not the name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting.

Hey all. Can someone guide me on the following issue? When I record via Zoom, the quality of my PowerPoint presentation is very poor. annoying delay between video and audio

I am repeatedly having the video out of sync with the audio, and it lags 1-2 seconds or more behind, which makes a Zoom meeting impossible.

This is in live meetings, not recordings. This is on a new pc with fast wi-fi speed. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom and run tests on the connection and the last meeting showing no issues

Resolved! Random pop sounds during meetings

During my meetings in the Zoom client on Windows 10, randomly I hear "pop" sound effects. I checked and confirmed that this only happens during Zoom meetings. My current Zoom version is 6.2.0

All my live streaming settings in account settings is enabled yet when I create a new meeting I don't see the option on the live streaming section of the meeting to add all my Facebook Group live details.

 

I have also added the app inside of zoom but get "You cannot stream to this platform. Check your zoom settings".

 

It's so frustrating. Can anyone help pelase.

I hope someone can help with this. We are a meditation group which opens and closes a session by having the leader ring a bell. The bell reverberates for a while- that is it produces a sustained ringing tone after the leader strikes it. However, this does not come across on the Zoom audio- there is a very brief sound when the bell is struck, but no one can hear the sustained ring.

Is this a known phenomenon? Is there any setting I can change?

Meeting Schedule Reminder Dissapears Before It Starts

Hi, I am using ZoomRooms on the NeatBar(meeting device) and the NeatPad(controller for NeatBar).
NeatPad shows my meeting schedules on its screen, but recently my meeting schedules suddenly disappeared, and I have experienced this phenomenon many times.


[Conditions]
I used the administrator account of Zoom meetings to create meeting schedules and registered this NeatBar as a participant.
I reused past meeting schedules to create new ones.
When I created a new meeting schedule, the reminder appeared on the NeatPad, but it disappeared after a few minutes.
If I refresh the schedule screen before it disappears, it is gone.
This phenomenon occurs only when NeatBar is registered as a participant, not as an alternative host.

My NeatBar and NeatPad versions are;
・NeatBar
ZoomRooms:6.1.10(5390)
NeatOS:NFB1.20240924.0005

・NeatPad
ZoomRooms:6.1.12(3035)
NeatOS:NFA1. 20240924.0507

 

I am using these tools in business settings, so I should not uppdate these tools too quickly.


[My questions]

1. What is the cause of this ploblem?

2. Is this a kind of bug or due to Zoom settings?

3. When I reuse past meetings to create a new schedule, are there any precautions that should be taken to avoid bugs?

4. The following are the specifications of the meeting reminder as I see them now, but please let me know if there is anything wrong.
・The reminder appears 10 minutes before the meeting start time.
・If you do not press the close button on the reminder, it will be shown until 10 minutes after the meeting start time, and it will go out automatically.

Dear Zoom Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I have been trying to adjust the background noise suppression settings on my Zoom application to facilitate a better sound experience during my sessions, as recommended in the FAQ section of your support site. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate the "Audio" settings option where I should be able to modify the background noise suppression level or enable "Original Sound for Musicians." These options do not appear on my interface, making it impossible for me to adjust or disable the background noise suppression as needed.

I am currently using Zoom on a Mac device, and I have ensured that the application is updated to the latest version. However, the settings menu still does not display the required audio adjustments. Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? If there are any additional steps or troubleshooting measures I can take to make these settings available, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

J'essaie de régler les paramètres de suppression des bruits de fond dans mon application Zoom afin d'améliorer la qualité sonore pendant mes sessions, comme recommandé dans la FAQ de votre site de support. Malheureusement, il m'est impossible de trouver l'option Paramètres audio où je devrais pouvoir modifier le niveau de suppression des bruits de fond ou activer le Son d'origine pour les musiciens. Ces options n'apparaissent tout simplement pas dans mon interface, ce qui m'empêche de désactiver ou de régler la suppression des bruits de fond.

J'utilise actuellement Zoom sur un appareil Mac, et j'ai vérifié que l'application est bien à jour avec la dernière version. Malgré cela, les options nécessaires ne sont toujours pas disponibles. Pourriez-vous m'indiquer la marche à suivre pour résoudre ce problème ? Si vous avez des étapes supplémentaires ou des solutions de dépannage pour que ces paramètres soient accessibles, je vous serais très reconnaissant(e) de bien vouloir m’aider.

SOLVED!
In my losing my way in the midst of what became a puzzle, I had forgotten to leave my DAW open.

I am delivering keyboard/piano lessons online and am have difficulty with sharing the computer audio to hear the midi of the keyboard.

I have tried several potential solutions, though as yet still cannot hear the sound.

The midi works when going through Garageband.

I've set up the midi for the Zoom input/output in midi settings on Garageband. When in Zoom I click 'share computer audio' and no sound comes out. The small box to tick for option of 'share sound' is greyed out.

 

I have also tried going through my audio interface with the leads from keyboard to interface. Then choosing that as the speaker option.

 

I've tested out the different options of sound including for 'live musicians' and get the message there's a problem turning it on.

 

The sound is set to only me to share, not multiple participants. 

I have updated Zoom, and restarted. 
I'm using a Macbook with High Sierra.

 

I trust someone can help, I'm in quite a puzzle with it.
