When I play a musical instrument during Zoom lessons, the sound comes out distorted. "Choppy" is the best way I can describe the problem. I am on a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop, Windows 11, Zoom version 6.1.11. I am able to record video and audio from my laptop camera without any issues. My Internet connection is via Ethernet cat 5 E, so upload speed is not a factor. My Zoom settings are optimized for musicians and are exactly the same as those used by my teacher and classmates. They're also the same as the settings I used on my older Acer laptop, which worked fine. I tried an experiment by doing a Zoom meeting with myself from my husband's older Dell using all the same Zoom and Dell settings and the same versions of Windows and Zoom as mine. My playing came through just fine over his laptop. Both laptops use Realtek Audio with one difference. His runs a driver version from 2021; mine runs one from 2023. Could my distortion issue be the result of a conflict between the Zoom app and my microphone driver? Should I try to replace my driver with the older version?

I'm on Windows 10. When someone else shares their screen and zoom is the active window, my screen flickers to the point I get migraines. If zoom is not the active window (I opened a browser or something else while in the meeting) the shared screen display is smooth and updates beautifully. The size of the zoom window doesn't matter. The only thing that seems to affect whether or not it flickers is whether or not zoom is the active window. Does anyone have advice how to fix that? Am I stuck with the choice of getting sick from migraines or getting distracted from other programs?

I understand that I can use up to 4 cameras on a single account and the viewers attending my meeting will see all 4 views. I know that I can choose which camera is the main view. My question is will the viewers on their end be able to switch between views and make any of the 4 cameras come up as their main view? Thank you !

I received an email from Zoom saying that my recorded meetings were going to be deleted in 7 days. How do I keep this from happening?
All,
I am facing an issue with recordings since I switched to a new laptop. The audio of all my participants is not recorded. Configuration and setup is the same.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.
Klaus
I have been hosting church services on zoom since 2020 with good audio results. I have used the same phone and same external mic with toggling between "Enable Original Sound" and "Disable Original Sound" on the phone. All was fine with my S10e. I just started using a S22 plus. The login account, the MOVO mic, wi-fi, and settings are all the same. Original Sound is not working. Instead, I get complete silence. When I "Disable Original Sound" speakers are okay, but music is suppressed. What do I need to toggle to enable Original sound again? I am on the latest zoom version.

Hi,
I would like to record a 2 person session in a vertical view - two windows the same size but arranged vertically. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you for your help.

Zoom Scheduler extension is now blocking Google Calendar. This app is corrupting Google Calendar. What can I do about that apart from deinstalling? It used to work fine until October last year or so.
