I want to use polls for hybrid teaching setting, where part of the participants are logged into Zoom from remote locations and part is sitting in a room with the lecturer (without being logged into ZOOM).

When I start the poll the remote-participants can answer via ZOOM.

The others can answer using the QR-Code and smartphone to answer (they are not logged in with ZOOM).

Is this last group somehow counted towards my max. meeting-participants (since they are not logged in) or not?

Could I have a meeting maximum of 100, have 100 people answering in ZOOM and additionally 50 people sitting in the room with the meeting host, using their devices to answer via QR-Code?

Please can anyone tell me if there is a way to turn off/change the audio for desktop meeting reminders?

The notification is so so loud, I don't have any issues with any of the other sound settings for various apps. I want to keep the popups that appear on the desktop, just remove the sound notification, or change it to something softer at least.

When I enter a meeting Zoom automatically uses my Google account (with private email and picture, which I do not want to use) instead of using the one I have logged in with (my work email and picture, which I would like to use).
Any solution to this, please?

Can I lock the settings of existing Break Out Rooms that I have created?

Recently I had 30 minute Break Out sessions in progress. While setting up the next set of Break Out Rooms, I accidentally started editing the participants in the sessions that were underway. Fortunately only minor disruptions took place until a Co-Host notified me.

Is there a way to lock the sessions underway while defining the next set of rooms?

Hi,

I will be interviewing two people (not a job interview)
about their experiences in a certain subject.

I want to set their video box up as the main
2 video's and my video to be smaller on the bottom.
I want the video boxes of all three of us to stay
the same size throughout the interview.

How do I set this up in Zoom?

I have been using Zoom for a while now, and it has worked really well.  However, the new 6.4 client seems to be buggy on Linux.

I am primarily trying to use it on a tower running Debian 12.

I just tested 6.4.3 and 6.3.11.

I did the same thing with both, set up a meeting on this tower PC, using my free Zoom account, and connected to it using the same account from my laptop.

For both versions it allowed the connection, video came through, but I couldn't hear audio from the laptop (maybe unrelated, probably not significant, I only had my phone to play sounds near the laptop).

The main problem is that when the laptop left the meeting, for 6.4.3, it did not notice that the laptop had left the meeting, it ran 3 cores out of 4 at maximum, Zoom failed to exit the meeting on the tower, and crashed the whole computer when I tried to kill it.

When the laptop left the meeting hosted by 6.3.11, Zoom noticed the laptop had left, and exited completely cleanly, no problems.
