When sharing my screen, any Zoom windows will show up as a black box.  See attached pic for an example.

 

I've already tried several solutions suggested in this forum, including:

- Turning off all of the screen sharing hardware acceleration options

- Toggling use 'TCP connection for screen sharing'

- Optimize for video is not enabled

 

None of those options resolved the problem.  I'm running Windows 11, Intel UHD graphics, Zoom client 5.11.4

Please,Can someone tell me why i can't join a meeting by link, and the system tell me that i have to insert the ID meeting or passcode when i don't know them? My colleagues can join the meeting just by clicking the link and they don't have to put any... Show more

Why Zoom generate Audio file in recording, How to Disable?

Hi everyone,
When I record any meeting, Zoom generate Video file, its good, but its also generate Audio MPEG-4 Audio files, how can i disable to generate audio mp3 files, I only need video file,.

After students have been sharing, I can no longer see them on my other screen when I share - the screen goes black. The only way to fix this is by popping into a breakout room and coming back. Any advice? Its annoying!

External speakers won't play notifications

I recently changed my laptop and the new speakers are crummy. I bought an external speaker but now I do not hear the notifications of students entering zoom. I also cannot hear the test ringtone. Both work fine when I do not have the external speaker... Show more

I recently changed my laptop and the new speakers are crummy. I bought an external speaker but now I do not hear the notifications of students entering zoom. I also cannot hear the test ringtone. Both work fine when I do not have the external speaker plugged in. I have tried changing settings on my computer and in zoom but cannot seem to find the problem. HELP!

I have the free version. Can I add a feature that allows callers to join via computer and by phone call in? Can't seem to locate this answer on line. Appears they may have taken that feature off the free version based on YouTube tutorials I have seen... Show more

I have the free version.  Can I add a feature that allows callers to join via computer and by phone call in?  Can't seem to locate this answer on line.  Appears they may have taken that feature off the free version based on YouTube tutorials I have seen.  Those tutorials show an "audio" section that allows you to choose telephone, computer or both.  Don't see that option on my screen.  Thanks!

when I start a meeting, the setting for sharing the desktop for the meeting participants is set to "Host only" by default.

Is there a setting to allow participants to share their desktop by default, so I don't have to set it always manually (or in other words, I would like the underlined setting to be the default for every meeting I start)?

Resolved! Screen is a patch translucent green and video lagging

My Zoom video has suddenly turned a translucent green and my video is lagging badly. I've seen previous posts with a similar issue but none of the solutions offered have worked.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled as well.Any other ideas?

Hello,

Is there a way to customize the Windows Zoom Desktop app to enforce SSO logins only?  For example, when opening the Zoom app, the user clicks "Sign In" and is presented with options to log in via:

 

Email and password

SSO

Apple

Google

Facebook

 

 

Wondering if only the SSO option could be available and if we could eliminate all other options.
