Since upgrading to version 5.16.2.22807 the video option is greyed out although audio works fine. My video camera works in another app. I am always a client but I need to see and be seen. I am just about to uninstall Zoom and reinstall.  I have tried changing settings and rebooting my computer but this did not help.

Resolved! Zoom capturing screen while logged out of Zoom

Has anyone ever encountered the Zoom capturing your screen while not logged into Zoom?

 

On my Mac, I noticed a purple screen icon pop up in the menu bar at the top. When I left clicked, it said "zoom.us is capturing your screen." There was no way to exit I then logged into the Zoom app to check the settings, but I could not find anything relevant. I logged out of Zoom and the icon was still there. When I checked tried to Force Quit, Zoom was not found in the list for me to terminate. I ultimately shut down my computer, and when I turned it back on, the icon was gone.

Hello,I completed a zoom meeting where I interviewed someone for a school project. The interview had to be videoed. I recorded the meeting but when it saved to my computer, only audio is present on each of the saved files. Any advice? Is it possible ... Show more

I completed a zoom meeting where I interviewed someone for a school project. The interview had to be videoed. I recorded the meeting but when it saved to my computer, only audio is present on each of the saved files. Any advice? Is it possible to get the video or am I going to have to redo my assignment?

Video not working

My Video stopped working the last two weeks, have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom, updated all drivers (which were already up-to-date) and all I get is a black screen for myself. Everything else is working just fine...only started 2 weeks ago...!!

add another session button disappeared

I use to be able to add another session in my recurring meetings by just clicking on the 'add another session' button. Something has changed as the option is no longer there. however, all videos and responses from the service ticket just keeps to go ... Show more

I use to be able to add another session in my recurring meetings by just clicking on the 'add another session' button. Something has changed as the option is no longer there. however, all videos and responses from the service ticket just keeps to go to your recurring meeting and click the button to add a session which is very unhelpful if there is no button there to click. Has anyone else had this issue and found a workaround? So far, I have had to add multiple days of recurring meetings per client and then deleting all the days I don't need which creates another problem. Thanks

Hey everyone,
Sometimes I got a black screen on my laptop during share screen but it only started two weeks ago, I also downloaded the new zoom version 5.9.3 back then and today I downloaded the newer version 5.9.6 3799.
While the screen is black I can close the share screen option after pressing the Windows button and then clicking fast on stop sharing but I still got some weird jittering images on the screen and then only restart of the computer helps.
I am using a new computer of ASUS - Windows 10 with Intel iris Xe Graphic card and Intel i7 CPU./

I use Zoom many times a day, and the desktop app launches directly from links in calendar invites. Is there a way to bypass the webpage that systematically opens and stays open even though it reroutes to the desktop app? As I have multiple Zoom calls every day, I end up with unnecessary open Zoom webpage tags in my browser, it messes up with my OCD 😉 

 

I looked in settings, etc. but I could only find the converse, ie allowing users to open in browser as opposed to the desktop app.
