Mute on/off is slow on Windows only

Mute on/off is slow on Windows only

The Mac version switches instantly, but the Windows version waits for about 0.5 seconds after pressing it, so it feels strange.

Has this been confirmed across a sample-set of devices (10+ Windows devices, 10+ Mac devices)?

Is the issue persistent across multiple versions of Zoom?

Are all Windows devices using the same audio input/output hardware?

Lots of variables before Zoom software even gets involved - answers to questions above will help to inform next steps.

My 4 colleagues use m1 macbooks and they all switch instantly.
I am using asus zenbook 14 oled (windows11) with core ultra5 and it is slow.
My friend is using a Lifebook (windows10pro) with the 7th generation core i7 from Fujitsu and it is slow.

1.Launch Meeting Alone
2.Mute on/off with the camera on to switch instantly

I have, which is why I'm asking for more data.

Both Mac and PC (running latest respective GA releases of Zoom) both provide instant/snappy mute/unmute and vute/unvute function.
