I purchased an external camera for my laptop since I am not really impressed with the quality of my built-in camera. When I plugged the new camera in and tried to join a meeting in Zoom, it only showed a blank video/image. I tried to check if the same issue occurs in other applications, and it turned out the issue is only in my Zoom app. All other apps shows the camera is working. I tried to troubleshoot multiple times with the help of google and youtube (uninstall/install driver, uninstall/install Zoom app, etc) and nothing worked.

 

Can someone help me? Now even my built-in camera isn't working. Just a blank image. ONLY IN ZOOM. Rest of my apps, camera is working fine. I've been joining meetings using my phone since which is really hard.

Participant can't join the breakout room

why some of participant can't join the breakout room? even if i make them the co-host they still cannot join the breakout room.

we make live streaming discussion board for ppl, where is 2-4 speakers and all other ppl is muted and only watching. Sure, we know how to change personal background behind every speakers but question is if there a way change this black strips up and down on shared screen - my idea is put some kind of wallpaper behind speakers.  And if yes, its depends any license or addon etc?

Video pixelated using Chromebox or chromebook

Tried using my chromebox and chromebook for a zoom meeting this evening and was treated to horrible video quality using two different cameras. When I pulled out an older windows laptop and attached the same cameras, I had crystal clear video. Has anyone else had issues on chrome os with poor vid quality? If so, how did you overcome?

 

Also, this is the very first time I've had trouble. Used this set up for over a year without issue until today. Did a recent chrome os update break zoom?

Zoom VDI Plugin (VMware) for x64 ARM processors

My personal laptop cannot install any of the VDI plugins from Zoom website. It runs on ARM processor x64 and I assume that's why installer files doesn't work. I did download Zoom software that is ARM processor version from the website but cannot seem... Show more

My personal laptop cannot install any of the VDI plugins from Zoom website.

 

It runs on ARM processor x64 and I assume that's why installer files doesn't work. I did download Zoom software that is ARM processor version from the website but cannot seem to find VDI plug in that can work.

 

Any advice would be great as I use VDI for work and need plugin to work for video meetings.

Why Recording File so big?

why are some recording files 3 to 5 times larger than others?

we have several user accounts that record one-hour videos.

one account generates one-hour video files that are 150MB.

Another account's one-hour video would be 700MB. Why?
