I have just started having a problem. I share a video (YouTube say), have checked both buttons on the share button page (share audio and optimise) and it seems to share ok, video and sound. But if I mute my mic it kills the shared audio. Also the volume of shared audio sent varies with my local volume control. If I turn down local volume the zoom recipients hear it quieten. Normally the local volume is detached from transmitted shared audio. To reduce volume on the shared audio I move the volume slider on the YouTube window.

So the shared sound seems to come from the local sound channel rather than the video source. That’s a change.

Additionally the sound recipients receive is poor quality with pips and sputs. I have to turn on ‘original’ sound to bypass sound processing to make the video sound be presentable audible.

The platform is a windows 10 pc, the zoom has been upgraded to 5.12,2 and has not changed anything. The problem is the same, a mic mute during an audio visual share kills the shared sound.

another observation is that a video clip audio is shared anyway without needing to activate the shared button. If I play YouTube in a separate window then it’s audio is sent out to other recipients before I actually click to share the YouTube window. It’s as though the YouTube sound is actually being sent via the mic channel. This explains why the ‘original’ sound as to be on. Music from YouTube via the mic channel is affected by the noise filters. But a YouTube clip of talking is fine. It seems the YouTube output is just sent to the mic channel instead of sent in parallel to it.

I am trying to get an issue resolved for my boss. He is conducting an interview monday morning. To record my boss we use black magic equipment. We also run everything through the Black Magic 4K UltraStudio program. I have everything set up to UltraStudio correctly. The video is going into Zoom with no problem but for whatever reason my external mics are reading in UltraStudio but not in Zoom. Any tips would be helpful because I am at a loss.

Thanks!

I am the account holder and host of a group meeting.  I want to get a number of other people to be able to host the meeting ie open the meeting, admit people, open breakout rooms, screen share.  I want them to be able to do this even if I am not on the meeting.  Right now I've just given my ID and password so they can log in as me.  Is there a better way?

Thanks.

If someone can please point me to where I need to look for more info on how to do this: There is one person that is the owner of 1 license account. He needs to add me as an admin on the account so that I am taking care of scheduling meetings, recording the meetings, and any problems during the zoom meetings taking place. My account is already associated with the owner account. However, when I login with my username it is defaulting to my basic 40 minute zoom meeting limit. Do ALL meetings need to be scheduled off of the owner's account, even if I'm an admin on that account and if that is the case, am I able to do the full admin of the meeting when it is taking place?? I'm sure this is a common issue and there is a way to properly do it, I just need to know where to look for the information on it. Thanks very much

The video saved in the cloud is suddenly lost

My zoom account has no time limit, use less than 300 members, paid
the videos on the cloud were suddenly deleted but no one in the team reported that they were deleted
so when the data is full, zoom will delete itself?
Is there any way to recover data?

i have the personal Pro account plan.

I want to be able to share 2 windows/monitors as a presenter, so the participants can see both of my monitors/windows, as i have different information on each for them to view.  i have only found information on how the meeting group can simultaneously share monitors/windows, but this is NOT my issue.  My issue is me as a presenter to share both of my windows/monitors at the same time.

is this possible?  If so, does it require a different plan?

How do I disable an existing recording without deleting it.

I wish to temporarily disable an existing recording so that it cannot be viewed. I wish to re-enable it at a later date. How do I do that?

Hello,

Quick question.

We recorded a presentation during a zoom meeting. The presentation was recorded, along with the audio.. but the presenters faces, and any other faces do not appear in the recording?

Is there a backup recording or alternate viewing option to see the presenters faces after the recording has already been recorded, as it is not possible to re-record this meeting.

Thanks

Hello all,

I have a basic account (free/ unpaid).

Recently I have been encountering a painful issue that if my meeting has more than 2 people, the 3rd or 4th etc. joiner cannot join audio. They get the message that 'The meeting does not support dial in or Call me to join. You cannot connect to the audio.' I can see them but not hear them. In the meanwhile, the first 2 people (me + 1st joiner) can see and talk normally.

Have some Zoom audio settings changed for the basic account?

Many thanks in advance!
