Audio test works but no one can hear me

My audio tests fine, but when I join a meeting, nobody can hear me. I test right before I join a meeting and still have this issue. My laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad 11S running Windows 8. Core i5 processor if that makes any difference.

You probably already know this, but just to make sure - the audio test function works independently of the zoom meeting mic on/off setting. Check that the selected mic in the zoom meeting is the same one that you tested, and that it is switched on.
