Hi everybody,

my question sounds "easy", but can't figure out :

I wish to organize 1 meeting between 2 groups. And i wish than ONE (defined) of the 2 groups, may talk and automatically mute the 2nd group during his talk, and automatically unmute after his speech.

You're talking and someone of the 2nd group wish to correct you immediately while muting you at the same time for avoiding brouhaha.  And when they stop talking, you're unmuted.   Something like a "master" speaker i guess.

I think it is possible (easy idea in fact 🙂 )    but how ? (and meeting or webinar in that case ?)

Any idea/suggestion will be welcome

The green line never goes away even after restarting the computer and uninstalling zoom.

Hi

I'm using the basic version of Zoom because I rarely use it.  But, when I'm Screen Mirroring from my Samsung S10+ phone using Samsung's SmartView to my Samsung TV (UN40H5500AF), I lose the sound on the TV about half-way through the meeting.  Video still shows on the TV but the sound reverts to the phone.  I can't find any settings on either the phone or the TV, so I'm wondering if this is a Zoom issue, as it ONLY happens with Zoom.  Audio remains on TV with every other mirrored activity.

Please help!

Thanks in advance!
Jim

Hi. I am not able to turn off my background when I am joining a meeting. When I am at the Zoom App, everything is fine and I can turn off my background, but when I join the meeting of a website, the place where you turn off the background is always loading and so is the place that says "Video". I tried waiting but it always stayed the same. I tried restarting my computer and shutting it down but it stayed the same. I also tried reinstalling zoom but it didn't work. I have had this problem for several weeks now. Maybe for a month. Please help me fix this.

I recently moved from a 2016 MacBook Pro to a 2022 MacBook Air (M2 chip) using MacOS Migration Assistant. The files from /Users/USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/zoom.us/data/VirtualBkgnd_Custom were transferred from the old machine to the new machine but do not show up in "Zoom->Preferences->Background and Effects" when I login on the new machine.

How do I get Zoom [Version: 5.12.8 (12565)]  on the new machine (Ventura Version 13.0) to recognize the copied files?

I just upgraded to MacOS Ventura but this question would apply to earlier MacOS as well. Ventura makes it easier in System Preferences to see Login Items. For some reason, the Zoom app is showing as a login item? I know how to turn it off, but why is it there? What does it do as a login item, and why would I need Zoom running in the background all of the time?

I use Zoom 1-2 times a week for meetings, clicking on emailed links.

Thanks -
