joining a recurring mtng. zoom says meeting was scheduled for a past date and would not let me in
I have setup a recurring meeting and shared with participants. I also would like to
Approve or deny entry to users from certain regions and countries.
Please advise on how I can do this now, as the meetings have already started
i wish I could listen to what you are saying I AM HAVING A HARD TIME WITH DOWN LONDING ZOOM
I have followed every step on the official help page for every device/application including the application, online, and on mobile ( https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/8715431556621-Changing-your-name-on-Zoom#h_01GBDJXA2H4Y1FWECP374PGQEW ) but for more than a year now, every single zoom call I host or join my display name is defaulted to my legal name "Timothy" which I must have used to sign up originally for the service several years ago, instead of my entered name of "Tim".
Is there any way I can fix this? Or is this an issue getting fixed sometime soon? It's getting really annoying having to change my name on every single call I make.

Ever since the last ZOOM update whenever I share my screen my video goes all crazy. My students are fine but mine glitches and locks. I thought it was my camera so I upgraded but still have the same problem. Help please!
I've been saving my meetings locally to my pc. It saves in 3 parts. I sent all 3 parts to a participant and was told they couldn't see the gallery view only the host view. Is there a way to fix this? In order to play the zoom meeting from saved, do you need to download all 3 parts? Thanks ps -I'm new to this so please let me know if there is somewhere else I should have posted this

Hi, I have started using my zoom desktop app on my Microsoft Surface Laptop. The app suddenly reboots while the meeting is in progress. Please help me if anyone has a solution to this problem.
Thanks,
Ktulasi
Am using a Windows 10 PC with an Intel i7 chip. I update my Zoom software regularly. A few times in the past month during a meeting I'm hosting, my video and controls freeze, although participants can still hear me. Screen sharing seems to be the trigger. Fortunately the problem resolves itself after maybe 20-30 seconds. Other hosts I know have experienced the same issue since late summer. Some had to reboot their computers, since they could not exit Zoom nor did their system unfreeze. When they left the meeting, Zoom assigned a new host and continued it, so the former host was able to rejoin after they rebooted. What's the fix? Is there any way to regain control of the controls when a host freeze occurs?

(I'm a non-English speaker, so I use a translation app.) I had a meeting for about 4 hours. Then the size of the recorded file was so large (about 20GB). Also, when viewed with VLC on a mac, a black screen appears for 40 minutes, and for 4 hours when opened with Quick Time Player.
The video file is large, so I'm wondering if I can somehow restore it.
Does anyone have similar symptoms?
