A few weeks ago, Zoom installed an update. Since then, whenever I open the app, it gives me the  message "The last time you opened zoom.us, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?" No matter whether I select reopen windows or not, it immediately crashes again.

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled zoom and it didn't help.

 

My computer is a MacBook Air, Sierra 10.12.3

 

I saw that some other people had a similar problem related to an app called Power Toys, which I don't have.

Zoom Sound Problem

During a Zoom meeting the sound from my computer microphone  and headset microphone work fine when I speak. While sending Morse Code (short bursts of sound at around 700Hz) Zoom does not detect the sound either from the computer microphone or the headset microphone. This has worked previously on another computer with Windows 10 and Zoom version 5.13.3. I am trying to get this to work on my new computer which has Windows 11 and Zoom version 5.14.0 I don't seem to have any of the "audio controls" you suggest disabling in your resolution tip.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have a newer version of Zoom that asks for the participants email addresses to be entered when setting up a meeting. I never had to do that before. Why is this version asking for people's email addresses. I just want to copy and past the Zoom room link, then email it to folks. like I used to do.

My coaches and mentors use their zoom links. Where do i find file a support ticket? I am being blocked from joining my training meetings.

 

Can't find my recordings from this afternoon. Is there a default setting for video storage?

I have a user who is experiencing a strange issue updating a reoccurring Zoom meeting via Shared Mailbox calendar in Outlook 365. Whenever the user updates the reoccurring meeting by adding content to the body of the meeting message/details and clicks Send & Update, copies and paste new content within the meeting message body, and the content then mysteriously gets removed completely after the update is sent. Funny enough, the Zoom Meeting details remain there. 

 

Has anyone out encountered this issue? Whether this is an Outlook issue or Zoom issue?

 

Would appreciate any feedback

I created a recurring meeting with following dates:

- October 17,

- October 24

- November 7

- November 14

 

As for reucurring meetings you can not untick "Close registration after the meeting date.", for how long people can register for one of these events? I want to make sure people can register on November 12 for the event on November 14.

I'm reaching out to address an ongoing issue I've been experiencing during Zoom meetings, and I'm hoping you might be able to offer some guidance or solutions. During meetings on the Zoom platform, I'm encountering a peculiar problem – I can't hear other participants' voices. Strangely, they can hear me without any issues. I've taken several troubleshooting steps to resolve this matter, but unfortunately, the problem persists.

 

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. I attempted to resolve the issue by reinstalling Zoom on my device. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the application a few times, but this did not resolve the audio problem.

2. I checked other video conferencing platforms like Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, and I haven't faced any similar audio issues there. This leads me to believe that the issue is specific to Zoom.

3. I connected my headphones to see if the problem lies with my audio output device, but unfortunately, I still couldn't hear others' voices in the Zoom meeting.

4. I accessed the audio settings within Zoom and conducted an audio test. Despite following the troubleshooting steps outlined in the help center, I've been unable to hear any audio during the test.

5. I also ensured that I'm using the latest version of the Zoom application.

 

Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved. Given that I'm encountering this problem exclusively on

Zoom, I'm reaching out to you for any insights or recommendations you might have. I highly value your expertise and would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me rectify this issue.
