I am unable to start a meeting or enter a meeting. I get the Invalid meeting ID error. I tried to start the scheduled meeting. I then created a meeting on the fly. I then rebooted my computer and tried them again. Same message. I tried using an incog... Show more

I am unable to start a meeting or enter a meeting.  I get the Invalid meeting ID error. I tried to start the scheduled meeting. I then created a meeting on the fly. I then rebooted my computer and tried them again. Same message. I tried using an incognito window and could not get in that way either.  I can get into our account, I just can't join a meeting.

I am the admin / lone staff peron.

Please help! Thank you!!

When I join a call my display name is different than the one saved on my profile. Help!

Camera Black on Zoom only

Hello, my video is black and I cannot fix it. My built-in webcam was working completely fine with Zoom for 6 months or so, I did not change any settings and the camera does work fine as I tested it on google meetings. I have tried uninstalling zoom and reinstalling, rebooted, it did not help.  I am using Zoom Version: 5.12.9 (10650) on HP Elite Dragonfly Max Notebook PC  with Windows 10 Pro version 21H2.  This same issue is also happening on another laptop in the office, same type of computer but has Windows 11. Again, the camera works fine elsewhere but for some reason on Zoom it is black.

 

Please help me. Someone, anyone.

I can no longer find my recordings on Zoom. I still have the link to the Zoom Room and the ID, but I can't find these recordings in my history or anywhere else. Now I wanted to ask if it is possible to trace what happened to this recording via the room and the ID?

Hi

I’m part of a small non-profit organization that uses a pro account for our meetings. The member that created the account is now withholding access to it and says they will soon delete it.

 

Is there any way we can preserve the meeting id so we can continue to use it if/when they delete the meeting? The zoom id has been widely enough distributed that it will be painful for quite a few rather non-technical people.

Hi 

I set up Zoom originally on a Windows 10 PC.  It works perfectly.

I also set Zoom on my Windows 11 Laptop.  Initially I set up a separate "id" for it.  I have not used the laptop version for 6 months and now that "id" no longer works.

Despite having re-loaded Zoom on the laptop, when the laptop is the host, it refuses to acknowledge that there are participants.  Any participant can see the host, but they are left in the waiting room, because the host does not 'see' them.

Any ideas??

Resolved! Can Zoom auto delete a recording

Hi,

Can zoom auto delete a recording with a few days of it being shared?

Or can it remove access to the recording after a participant has viewed it once?

I  used the advanced sharing option for PowerPoint where my slides are a backdrop. When I did a recording of the session, I was in a box at the top (with part of my slides) and NOT as I wanted - with me presenting and the slides as a backdrop.

How do I make a recording that does this - so I'm not in the little box but with the slide as a backdrop. I designed the presentation so that this would work - but it didn't. Please help - as otherwise the recording feature is flawed.
