I streamed a Technology Summit with a Congregation of nearly 300 guests to YouTube with an ATEM Mini Pro. For one Session during the Summit, I started a Zoom Meeting and began pulling the content (Video and Audio) from an HDMI output on my Field Monitor into the Zoom Meeting. The attempt was successful in Zoom and after leaving Zoom Meeting all devices continued to function correctly for the rest of the Summit.

When looking at the Recording on the SSD and the Stream on YouTube the next day... that portion of content i added to Zoom was missing. I did not have the Zoom Meeting set to record or start recording at any time. I checked and have no history of any events for that day in Zoom.

Is the content of this event that was being streamed to YouTube successfully until and after I added it to a Zoom Meeting retrievable?

I will be joining a zoom meeting that someone else is hosting. Is there any way that I can record it? Do they have to give me permission to do so? (I know how to record when I host a meeting, but am wondering if I can record a meeting hosted by anoth... Show more

I will be joining a zoom meeting that someone else is hosting. Is there any way that I can record it?  Do they have to give me permission to do so?  

 

(I  know how to record when I host a meeting, but am wondering if I can record a meeting hosted by another person.)  Thank you for any info.

Organization members taking down other members

I'm an education user. We have 20 staff members as teachers and each individual login is connected to their individual class. Even though they don't have any connections or co-host my school's class meetings. When a member enters his class, the zoom ... Show more

I'm an education user. We have 20 staff members as teachers and each individual login is connected to their individual class. Even though they don't have any connections or co-host my school's class meetings. When a member enters his class, the zoom releases a response that he is already connected to another meeting if he wants to end the meeting he is currently in to join this other one that he needs to teach the class. When he clicks YES it drops another meeting with all students and the member who is the teacher of another class is also dropped. Even if none of the two are registered in the same classes. To each his own specifies this error occurs.

Can select virtual background to add but it does not get added

I click the + to add a new virtual background (I have added 8 so far) and select the new image but it does not get added to the gallery of images already added. 

No error message.

Images meet maximum size requirements or better.

Mac running Ventura 13.4.1 with an M2 chip; installs zoom upgrade, but does not recognize UN or PW

Help. Zoom no longer does chat help, but only emails responses to tickets with as much frequency as Haley's comet. 

 

I am on a mac

I am running Ventura 13.4.1

I have an M2 chip

 

Thanks to posts on here I was able to download the new app installer, drag it into my applications folder; restart my computer; then run the installation. The app installed!

 

Problem?

It doesn't recognize my UN email or PW. 

I host a podcast and record through zoom - this is KILLING ME.

I have noticed that Zoom has adopted one of the very worst and annoying aspects of Skype: frequent updates that happen when I try to start a meeting. Why they would do this is beyond me. They understand that we're trying to get to a meeting when we start Zoom, don't they?

 

Yesterday I signed in through SSO, launched my personal room, and it commenced an update without asking permission. My network was a little slow so it took some time for the update to complete, then instead of proceeding to my personal room it went to the generic "start a meeting" screen. I had to go back through SSO, get back to the link for my personal room, and click it again, and I was late to my meeting because of all this.

 

If anyone from Zoom is listening, how about having it update when I leave a meeting instead of when I'm starting one?!

Does a recurring scheduled meeting have the same meeting ID that I can share with people to be used for each meeting or is there a unique meeting ID created for each one? We are a municipality that would like to Zoom our monthly board meetings but would like to post the link in our local newspaper if possible.

Zoom recently added new Admin tools to help improve global data privacy compliance, but so far this seems limited to manual actions by admins. We are trying to ensure we have an easy and largely automated way of responding to GDPR "right to be forgotten" requests by meeting invitees and attendees (as well as webinar registrants and attendees), etc.

 

Is there an API that allows Zoom customers to tap into the Global Privacy Enhancements?  If not, how else can customers ensure complaince?
