I use Zoom for my yoga classes since many years without issues. Since about a month, I think since Zoom update to Workplace, I start my class sharing music from Spotify, as always, and using my Rode Wireless microphone. Suddenly, my mic disconnect and no more sounds are shared. When I try to unplug my mic or adjust the setting in Zoom, the whole app freezes and stop working. I have to start the meeting again and use my laptop microphone instead of my Rode microphone. Is there a solution to this issue??

Does anyone know if there is a way of retrieving a zoom call I made but didn't record.

I have a free account and don't see how to record my calls, which I would like to do going forwards.

Why is Zoom ruining everything?

In the past year or so, Zoom keeps making changes that make the entire experience terrible and more laborious. Commonly used features are being put behind multiple steps. At least give us the options to revert to how it was or to edit things? 1 - No ... Show more

In the past year or so, Zoom keeps making changes that make the entire experience terrible and more laborious. Commonly used features are being put behind multiple steps. At least give us the options to revert to how it was or to edit things?

 

1 - No "End Meeting" button anymore from Meeting Controls whilst screen sharing, you have to click on "Show Meeting" first (or end the screen share) in order to see the option 

 

2 - Screen sharing options now on 3rd "Advanced" tab

 

3 - Screen sharing via AirPlay no longer works. The "Zoom-device-name" item doesn't show up. I have "AirPlay Receiver" switched off as suggested by Zoom Support. I tried again after switching it back on to see if that worked but it didn't. 

 

Why is Zoom determined to make life harder and more complicated?

 

For issues 1 and 2, there's nothing I can do because Zoom have made the changes in their apps and I've scoured all possible settings but there's no option to move stuff around for those specific things. 

 

For issue number 3, I've tried: 

The Zoom app is up to date on my devices.

My devices have the latest firmware running. 

I've tried on multiple devices and instances of Zoom. 

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom.

I've tried restoring my Macs and also my iPads from factory default.

Error Code 5003 when logging on via cellular data but not when logging on via wifi

Following a recent Zoom update approx 2 weeks ago, my iPad will log on to Zoom normally via wifi, but won't log on via 4G cellular data. It gives an error code 5003.  Prior to this it has worked normally.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, but the error code persists when I attempt to log in via cellular data.  There is no firewall or proxy.  Thankyou for any suggestions as to how to solve this problem.

iPad hosted Zoom meeting; mic won't work for scheduled meetings, will for a new meeting???

I've been using the Rode WirelessGoII mics without issue for two years every Sunday morning. The last few weeks, the mic doesn't work despite it being plugged in securely, app updated, mic assured to be turned on, all the requirements.

iPad OS 17.3

Zoom version 5.17.5

Testing on a new meeting, it works fine. But when I try the old scheduled meeting, or new scheduled meetings, it won't work. Doesn't show as muted, but there's no sound.

I have updated software for Rode, Zoom and the iPad. Checked that the Mic settings in general/apps has allowed Zoom access. 

The only way the mic works is if I start do a New Meeting. 

Anyone having the same issue? Any fixes?

I had a deeply personal Zoom Meeting with a medium, a medium I have contacted before and someone who has helped me greatly.  The medium sent me a copy of our meeting; she recorded it and then emailed it to me.  That meeting was incredibly special to me.  Unfortunately, I didn't realize I needed to download a copy of that meeting from the Zoom Cloud; the email copy of it that I was viewing apparently is only kept for about a month.

 

Does anyone know if Zoom Meetings that were “in the Cloud” and are now no longer accessible can be recovered?

This has gone on for multiple years now. Our company schedules several Zoom Meetings to be held in the upcoming year, throughout the entire year. Inevitably, some of these Meetings will be deleted from Zoom without our knowing. We are not deleting them on our end and we do not receive notice that they are deleted. Of the several Meetings we schedule for the year, some will be deleted but not all.

 

After they are scheduled (always using Zoom desktop), we do not touch these meetings. All that happens is the link is put into an automated email for participants to use to access the Meeting.
