Hi Everyone

I am based in New Zealand and I have a meeting attendee who is currently in Fiji and he wants to join a meeting by phone. I understand that the wifi where he is based is not sufficient to join over the web hence the need to join by phone. Can anyone help me find the number he needs to call into and hoe I manage that at my end.

Thank you in advance.

Does Co-host need a paid license to share a video over 40 minutes length if Host has a paid license?

I have been participating in a weekly zoom meeting for the last couple of years.  The Host has a paid license.  Recently, he ask me to share a video each week with the group.  The videos which are on my laptop run about an hour in length.  I have a free license.  The Host makes me a Co-Host.  We usually have discussion for about 30 minutes before I start sharing my screen to show the video.  After a few minutes, into the screen sharing, zoom drops my screen share for the entire group and/or completely kicks me out of the meeting requiring me to log back in.

I have tried different internet providers, different devices, etc.  But, I can't seem to screen share after some point in the meeting.  That point is suspiciously close to the 40 minute limitation on a free account for hosting.  Do I have to have a paid license, in order to Screen Share as the Co-Host for more than 40 minutes?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Does anybody know will we be able to open Zoom on our phone's web browser without installing the app?

Most pages give information only about opening Zoom on computer's web browser, so I wasn't sure about on the phones. I tried and failed. However, I wished to know if there was a way I wasn't aware of. Thanks so much in advance.

Playing music from YouTube for church services

the recording breaks up for the listeners on the Zoom. I can hear it fine. Is there some setting I can adjust so it plays as it did before?

Hi everyone,

My problem is Zoom keeps automatically deleting my recordings on cloud for no reason (all of the files are under 30 days). In the past, I can still recover these files from trash but now Zoom won't allow me to recover only 4 recordings because "... your account has no available cloud recording storage left." but my cloud storage at the time is completely empty.

Can some one help me recover these recording please? They're very important.

We have an account with a Zoom One Pro license and at the moment, the license isn't assigned to anyone. It's not allowing me to assign it. When I click save after trying to add it, it says 'You have exceeded the limit of license assignment for your account. Buy more licenses to increase the limit.'.

On the main user page, it says 'You have licenses still available to users.Assign license to users or manage your license count.'.

Anyone have any ideas why it's not working?

Why Does Zoom Auto-Assign New Host to an Inactive Mic?

Is there any way for auto-assignment of host in the event of a host's loss of connection to be designated to go to a mic that is currently active?  We've had, on multiple occasions, hosts and co-hosts who have lost connection (this time all of us lost it at  the same time when a zoom glitch somehow disconnected everyone who was in the lobby, and only those in one breakout room remained unaffected) ... and host was randomly assigned.  Twice now it was assigned to someone whose mic hasn't been active for several hours and is probably asleep.  Is there no way to prevent that?

Zoom can see which mics are dormant and which are active and recently engaged (hosts have access to this active mic information when looking into breakout rooms, so zoom software must too) ...so is there no way for zoom to make the auto-host designation at least be a user who is currently active?  Surely this is something that can be fixed in the software if there isn't a setting for it?

We'd like to not have to boot inactive users in order to prevent a sleeper from getting the host power in the event of an accidental drop (it's nice to let people sleep in our overnight events and wake up with us the next morning).  But the the way zoom currently random-assigns hosts has resulted in the overnight host and co-host being locked out of our own meeting tonight.  (We aren't the owner of account, they're already in bed).   Last week the person who had been randomly assigned host woke up and hit "end", without being aware they were hitting more than "leave" (it ended the meeting for everyone).

Come on zoom!  I love that the meeting doesn't end when the host and co-hosts accidentally drop out, and that you let the owner of account leave while assigning others as hosts (which can be passed along to others when they in turn leave) but when random-host gets assigned, it really shouldn't be hard to randomly auto-assign the meeting to someone who is at least recently active!

Problem with automatic co-host assignment

Dear all,

We have some meetings in which we have to assign small groups, sometimes the host is not available, how can we get a co-host to be assigned automatically?

Best regards!
