Unable to upload to Vimeo

Every week I upload a Zoom meeting to Vimeo. This week I got this error message: "The application has received an invalid parameter. Please get in touch with the apps creator".

Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it? THX

I run a technical meeting and tonight we got a type of zoom bombing I've not seen before.  Seemed to be free floating window with sexual content, not associated with any particular user.  We had rename/video/screenshare off.

We also had offensive chat messages appearing to come from multiple people ... seems that someone was able to create a chat "from" someone else.

Not sure what more I can do to defend against this sort of behavior.

share screen to waiting room

I would like to post rules in the waiting room so that participants can see them before entering the meeting.  Is this possible?

Mouse control in a breakout room

Can I request mouse control of someone else's screen in a breakout room if I'm not the host of the meeting?

I’m experiencing an issue with the video feed on Zoom where the camera appears to automatically focus on me, leaving the background slightly out of focus, even though I don’t have the background blur enabled. My FaceTime HD camera works fine in other apps like Photo Booth, so I don’t believe it’s a hardware issue.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Verified that "Touch Up My Appearance," "Adjust for Low Light," and "Portrait Lighting" are disabled.
Toggled "HD" and "Original Ratio" in video settings.
Checked the "Advanced" video settings for any relevant features.
Updated my Zoom app to the latest version.
Ensured no third-party apps are interfering with the camera.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. It seems Zoom may be automatically prioritizing focus on my face or applying some kind of framing or processing feature that I cannot disable.

Could you please advise if there’s a way to stop this auto-focus behaviour or if this might be a software issue?

We are using Zoom VDI client on Azure Virtual Desktop with about 15 different hosts running the same image.  Zoom Client for VDI(64bit) version 5.17.14660 in installed via script during host generation.  Some users have a problem where they get an error trying to login to the Zoom client.  It says, "Update required: Your app version needs to be 5.13.0 (VDI plugin) or higher to join this meeting. Contact your IT admin to update. Join this meeting from your browser."

Other users on the same host have no problem logging in, so it seems to be a profile based problem.  We have tried renaming the folder .../appdata/roaming/ZoomVDI.  This is recreated, but same problem exists.  Does someone know how we can get the app to work for users without rebuilding their Windows profile?

When closed captions are enabled by the Host of the meeting, I find that the following issues occur:

  1. Speech that is translated to text comes in 4 or 5 lines at a time and there’s a long pause between their appearances. The time they stay on the screen is so brief that even a fast reader like myself can’t keep up.
  2. When someone enters text in chat, the chat window appears as an overlay on the captions and it becomes difficult to read the captions.

How do I change the format of the captions so that

  1. Text appears within couple of seconds after they are spoken and appears no more than 2 lines at a time.
  2. Chat window can be moved to the side so it does not block the captions.

???

Also, the caption font that appear on the screen is small - please make it possible for the user to enlarge it if needed even for folks with glasses.

-Amy
