M2 MacBook cannot open Zoom meeting URLs

I have a user who just got a new M2 based MacBook Air. When they try to click on a URL for a Zoom meeting sent via Outlook, they see a spinner for about a minute and then the Mac opens an error dialog that says: "Unable to connect. Check to make sure you're connected to a stable network that is not blocked by a firewall or proxy."

 

The user is on MacOS 10.16, the Zoom client 5.12.9, no firewall or proxy on the Mac. The network connection is working normally as no other apps are impacted and the user's old MacBook (and my ancient MacBook Pro, and all of my 80+ PC clients) can open the same Zoom meetings URL without issue.

 

Has anyone run into this and know of a fix or workaround?

Account access locked out

I submitted a ticket because of the Premium account I have paid hundreds of dollars for services I have no access to because I have no access to the email account I have registered. The ticket was instantly closed saying they would not help me. The chatbot does not help me. I resubmitted a ticket and got the same response. So Basically I have an account I paid hundreds of Dollars for Premium services for that I can't access, A XZEndesk tells me to shove off its lost to me. In other words, Zoom is saying F*** O** your loss.

I am a coach (yoga/pregnancy/postnatal) and I use Zoom to host and record my classes.

 

I used to be able to have my veiw set to Gallery View but if I spotlighted myself ONLY my own video is recorded. This seems to have changed recently and even when I spotlight myself, if I change to gallery view and hit record it records everyone in Gallery view.

 

My use case is that I want to be able to see everyone so that I can see them properly and provide feedback but I ONLY want to record my spotlighted screen as the active speaker because that way I can share the recording whilst also protecting the member's privacy.

 

I was on 'record active speaker with shared screen' and have now selected 'record gallery, active speaker & shared screen separately' to see if that helps but I don't really want this option as it takes up too much storage space.

 

Why has this changed and how can I achieve my desired result.

no zoom report visualization in dexway

Hello,
I keep getting kicked out of meetings every few minutes. I use the desktop version of Zoom and have automated updates turned on in the app. Every few minutes Zoom asks me to leave the meeting or cancel and if I don't click on the exit button within seconds I get kicked out instantly. This happened to me many times already while it's working for anybody else in the meeting.
Can anybody help me?

I am having a issue of lately. I successfully register for a Zoom meeting. I confirm with the meeting organizer that my registration has been received. BUTTTT, I am not receiving the email mail confirmation email with the login info, etc. My email is through AT&T with the email extension of ATT.NET. Any ideas of how to fix this issue other than spending hours on the phone with AT&T?

조정하려고 하면 줌 프로그램이 종료가 됩니다.

이 현상이 7월 8일 이후부터 계속되고 있어서 정상적으로 수업에 참여 할 수 없습니다.

Hi all,

I have a Pro zoom account and use a 2022 MacBook Air for meetings. I'm the lead administrator on the account. Recently, I'm experiencing a new audio alter during zoom meetings, announcing when I begin and end screen sharing, when someone has entered or exited the meeting, etc. This is happening when I am not recording. It is very disruptive and unnecessary. I'd love to turn it off but can't find the setting in my account. 

 

I'm grateful for some help.

Resolved! Update Stopped, then New Download Stopped

I started a Mac Zoom update which stopped and did not complete. I could not even close the update window.

I used an App Cleaner & Uninstaller to completely uninstall Zoom.

Upon downloading newly and reinstallation, the installer completely stopped again with the message window “Waiting for other installations to complete.” When I try to quit the installer I get this message, “The Installer is busy. The window can’t be closed.”

So the install won't complete, and the install window cannot be removed from my desktop.

Any idea how I can correct this situation so that I can download Zoom again?
