Hello - In the past the way the settings were, I was able to record my meeting as host to my laptop and participants could not record.  While I was checking my settings the other day, I discovered that now there is just one toggle for local recording for both hosts and participants.  Then there is something underneath saying "allow host to give permission to participant to record."   If the toggle is enabled to allow recording to my laptop, will participants also be able to record without my permission?   I do not want participants to be able to record but I want to be able to record to my laptop.  How can I accomplish this?

Hi

I want to find a recording in the Cloud I did during a meeting. 

I was invited to the meeting and just selected Join via link. The person who invited me said she made me the host. I recorded the meeting to the Cloud during the meeting and when I had left, I tried to find the recording but cant find it on my page at the Web. I have a for free user subscription. According to the person who invited me to the meeting she doesnt have the recording and I should be able to find it myself. 

 

Does anyone here know if its possible for me to find the subscription and how?

If you have an issue with your computer not detecting your camera, this could also be a solution for microphone issue to. Try this: Go to the app "Samsung Security" on your computer and give zoom permission for your camera or microphone.

This problem occurred after a recent Zoom update. The camera selection box in the video section of the Zoom settings is empty and greyed out.

The ASUS Zenbook laptop is running windows 11 and the integrated camera works fine on other apps.

I've uninstalled / reinstalled the Zoom client and all the camera setting are on. The camera drivers are the latest level. I've followed the advice on various chat rooms, including resetting the camera, but nothing seems to work.

Help!?

Is there an API endpoint we can use to check how much cloud storage we have left in our team Zoom account?

I don't see anything here: https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/rest/reference/zoom-api/methods/#operation/accountSettings

Context, we would like to use Make or Zapier to check in e.g. once a week to see if we're approaching our limit.

I saved an important recording on local drive, to share later.  However, I cannot convert it and every time I try I get the message "There is another recording conversion in progress, please convert recording later in meetings > recorded.  

Well it's been a week and I still can't convert. I cannot see on the app any other conversion. I have three other recorded meetings saved in the app, which look okay but I could delete if need be. 

I've restarted computer. Closed and re-opened Zoom. Updated it.  

My colleagues are getting impatient for the recording.  How can I resolve?

converting recording

 When I went to stop my recording, I was unable to use my computer, and I had to shut it down. When I went back on zoom, the message "Files from unknown sources. Converting the following files may put your device and personal data at risk" was there.... Show more

 

 When I went to stop my recording, I was unable to use my computer, and I had to shut it down. When I went back on zoom, the message "Files from unknown sources. Converting the following files may put your device and personal data at risk" was there. I need that recording (not sure why there are 2, but maybe I stopped and started). Any thoughts about how to get them without potentially damaging my computer?
