I had a meeting and selected local recording and its recording gallery view. I looked in settings and there doesnt seem to be an option to record in speaker view. The option is there for cloud recordings but not local. Anyone know why? Any help appreciated 🙂

Keynote and PowerPoint have a new live video feature where you can place a window with a live image of the presenter on the slides. So, when screen sharing a presentation in Zoom, the audience can see the presenter incorporated into the slide. The problem is, Zoom still shows the thumbnail of the presenter off to the side for all participants, duplicating the presenter's video. Is there a way to hide the Self View of just the presenter for everyone?

- Not just "hide" Self View because it only hides my image from myself. It's still viewable for everyone else

- Not just "turn off camera" option because PowerPoint and Keynote still need the camera to show my live video during the presentation

- Not just turn off participants' cameras because I want to continue seeing the other participants 

 

Can I hide my Self View from everyone else while I'm sharing my screen?

I created a recurring meeting with following dates:

- October 17,

- October 24

- November 7

- November 14

 

As for reucurring meetings you can not untick "Close registration after the meeting date.", for how long people can register for one of these events? I want to make sure people can register on November 12 for the event on November 14.

I'm reaching out to address an ongoing issue I've been experiencing during Zoom meetings, and I'm hoping you might be able to offer some guidance or solutions. During meetings on the Zoom platform, I'm encountering a peculiar problem – I can't hear other participants' voices. Strangely, they can hear me without any issues. I've taken several troubleshooting steps to resolve this matter, but unfortunately, the problem persists.

 

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. I attempted to resolve the issue by reinstalling Zoom on my device. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the application a few times, but this did not resolve the audio problem.

2. I checked other video conferencing platforms like Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, and I haven't faced any similar audio issues there. This leads me to believe that the issue is specific to Zoom.

3. I connected my headphones to see if the problem lies with my audio output device, but unfortunately, I still couldn't hear others' voices in the Zoom meeting.

4. I accessed the audio settings within Zoom and conducted an audio test. Despite following the troubleshooting steps outlined in the help center, I've been unable to hear any audio during the test.

5. I also ensured that I'm using the latest version of the Zoom application.

 

Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved. Given that I'm encountering this problem exclusively on

Zoom, I'm reaching out to you for any insights or recommendations you might have. I highly value your expertise and would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me rectify this issue.

Resolved! Zoom will not install on iMac OS Ventura

I have downloaded the latest Zoom app from the website, but whenever I try to install it says "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance" But Zoom has no technical suppor... Show more

I have downloaded the latest Zoom app from the website, but whenever I try to install it says "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance"

 

But Zoom has no technical support unless you are a paid customer. I guess freebies get no help.

Ontem finalizei a reunião e o sistema ZOOM começou a baixar as gravações. Demorou bastante a baixar os arquivos e as duas primeiras reuniões não tiveram baixados (download) os arquivos de áudio e vídeo. Peço assim, para evitar a perda das gravações, auxílio para recuperar todas as gravações de ontem.

Speaker Volume defaults to Min on Connection

Hi, I've got a new Sony headset (WH-1000XM4), I previously used the WH-1000XM3 without issues.

 

I'm finding that when I connect to zoom the speaker slider defaults to the min setting, each time I move it up have my meeting but when I join a new meeting where the headphones have been turned off (they auto turn off after a few mins) the slider is at zero again.

 

How can I get zoom to remember the previous setting? 

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Connection

I sent out a meeting link to several people.

Three of them were requested to give their email and password.

They could not connect.

Why not, surely they simply have to click on the link ?

I set up to host a meeting and when I started the meeting it would not let anyone use their device audio. Wanted everyone to dial in. Closed the meeting and tried again. Same problem. Then closed the meeting and another person started a new meeting w... Show more

I set up to host a meeting and when I started the meeting it would not let anyone use their device audio. Wanted everyone to dial in. 

 

Closed the meeting and tried again. Same problem. 

 

Then closed the meeting and another person started a new meeting with their ID and that meeting had normal audio.

 

There must be some weird default associated with my account. 

 

How to fix this
