Invitations sent after setting up a meeting not working

I am sending invitations through the app after setting up a meeting. When participants try to join they are told a meeting is in progress and I don’t see their name in the waiting room.  Everything was working fine until about a month ago.  I have deleted the app, reinstalled and have a new user name - no improvement. What to do?

Past meeting history

I have a Zoom Pro account. I wanted to check the end time of a past meeting (one of my *recurring* meetings) held earlier this month. Under "Meetings" and then "Previous," nothing shows up. Am I doing something wrong?

Screen view vs recorded view

I want to run a workshop where I can see the participants, but for the recording, I'm the only or main on visible. Is this possible?
How would I do that? What settings would I need in the meeting?

Downloaded recordings of shared screen with speaker view only show shared screen and not speaker

I've gone through all the settings necessary (as far as I can tell) to record myself presenting my screen to participants, but for the recording only to show me. However, when I download the recording from the cloud - or in fact try doing it locally ... Show more

I've gone through all the settings necessary (as far as I can tell) to record myself presenting my screen to participants, but for the recording only to show me. However, when I download the recording from the cloud - or in fact try doing it locally - the recording only shows my shared screen with my audio - I can't see the video of myself presenting. I'm at a loss to what's going on. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

no ringtone when people are calling me on zoom

whenever people call me it is silent and i have tried to find where ringtones are and cannot find them. Have been to audio settings and clicked on notify me when someone calls etc 

problem with screen recording

for several months now, when I watch my recordings it is not in side-by-side mode. However, during the course/zoom meeting, the side-by-side mode has always been activated and I even see that the shared screen on the left and the video of the speaker... Show more

for several months now, when I watch my recordings it is not in side-by-side mode. However, during the course/zoom meeting, the side-by-side mode has always been activated and I even see that the shared screen on the left and the video of the speaker on the right right... but after the meeting has ended, when I tried to view the recording, I have noticed that the head of the speaker no longer appears at all and all one can see is his shared screen . I have tried everything: pinning the speaker's video , highlighting the speaker's video for every participants.. but nothing works. the recording is set so that it is "shared screen with provider display mode". I would like to point out that I have been using Zoom for several years and that this is the first time that this has happened to me but now this problem has lasted since January/February 2024

Recording issue

Without any known changes in my computer settings i am unable to control whether the meeting is recorded onto cloud or computer. IT happens when i join someone else's Meeting room which i do frequently. He makes me co host so i can record onto my own... Show more

Without any known changes in my computer settings i am unable to control whether the meeting is recorded onto cloud or computer. IT happens when i join someone else's Meeting room which i do frequently.  He makes me co host so i can record onto my own computer as opposed to his icloud.   When i am made co host and i press record, it automatically starts recording without any function to choose where to i. e cloud or local.

Other people using this person's meeting room do not have this problem.  And i did have control on where to record until recently. So i suspect its a setting issue on my mac but i am not sure where even to look on my mac. 

Any advice much appreciated.

Adjust toolbar in meetings

It is utterly irritating that Breakout Rooms and Chat are not visible in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, becasue the space is taken up by weird and to me rather useless additions such as AI, summary, apps, notebook ... But chat and break out... Show more

It is utterly irritating that Breakout Rooms and Chat are not visible in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, becasue the space is taken up by weird and to me rather useless additions such as AI, summary, apps, notebook ... But chat and break out I use all the time and they are hidden behind the three little dots at the right hand bottom of the toolbar.

Anyone knows how how to get around this?
