The Zoom package was is installed in Salesforce 3 years ago and is actively using. Recently, we deactivated the Salesforce user who installed the Salesforce Zoom package. Now we are getting an error from the batch class of Zoom saying it failed to process the batch. The reason we found was when we installed the managed package the user who installed the package became the user who submitted the batch. As the user becomes inactive, The scheduled classes throwing the errors are ‘MeetingMetricsBatch’, ‘ExternalZoomMeetingAutoBatch’.

Is there a way we assign the submitted user in the scheduled job to another active user?

I'm using Windows 11, OS and client fully updated. My Zoom account is managed by corporate IT.

The client will not stay minimized to the system tray no matter what options I select. I'm not sure what is prompting the client to restore itself, but it's either scheduled meetings or unread chat messages from those meetings. Either way, I do not want this. We do not use "Team Chat". I do not care about unread chat messages from expired meetings. I do not want Zoom to remind me that I have a call coming. We already have tools for these functions and throwing out redundant notifications is not going to inspire us to use them instead.

How do I keep the zoom client permanently minimized in my system tray unless I specifically open it myself?

If there's no solution for this, I'm going to keep myself logged out of zoom, which is a subpar experience.

Last night I was a guest speaker in a meeting.

When I clicked on the Share button, Zoom displayed a list of my running apps, but the list did not include the 3 screens that I am running on my Win10 machine.

I rebooted and logged into the meeting. I still could not share screens, just apps.

I've attended as a guest and hosted hundreds of meetings, and never encountered this before.

Does anyone have any ideas why this happened and how to avoid it in the future?

Hi,
during my Zoom meetings, the names of the participants and hosts are not displayed permanently in their video. They only appear by “mousing-over”. This is particularly annoying for recordings that are used in public and would benefit from a name badge.
Where can I change this setting, please?
Thank you.

Sorry for these newbie questions. I am new to Zoom.

I want to run Zoom from my desktop computer which has no WebCam.

Is it possible to participate in a Zoom meeting anyway?

I got an invitation link form someone else.

Can I show a photo instead of the webcam live view?

Where in Zoom do I have to upload/specify this default photo?

When I start zoom (on Win10) then I am requested to either"Join a meeting" or "Sign in".

Assume I want to Join a meeting (created by someone else) do I have to sign in first or is this possible WITHOUT an existing Zoom account?

Is there a dummy Test Zoom meeting (provided by Zoom) which I can use to test the zoom meeting handling?

Thank you

Thomas
