Hi!

It looks like Zoom has repackaged dial-in to withdraw support of this feature from the Basic plan.

I see that there's a list of phone numbers available to me in settings, and that for my location (the US) I need to be on a paid subscription to use even the toll number.

When was this restricted? Is there any documentation of the change?

Thank you!

Today I went to start my second lesson of 2 back to back online lessons. Zoom wouldn't connect and a box popped up saying that my last meeting had just ended and I needed to wait 10 minutes before i could start another one.  I can't find information about this anywhere in the basic free account stuff. Is this something new that is going to be a thing?

I can't afford a paid account for only a few online lessons a week. Do I need to make sure that they are never back to back?

What is going on?

Hello!

Looking to solve urgently an audio echo issue.

I'm running Windows 10, Zoom version 5.16.10, and a Zoom Livetrack L-8 audio interface.

In the Zoom client, my mics and speakers are set to the L-8, and my mics and headphones are hooked up to that. The interface gets feedback from the computer in one stereo channel. When this is on, i.e. I hear my computer audio and my guests' microphones, the guests get an echo of their own microphones. Apparently due to this loop back through the audio interface.

When I turn the feedback channel down to zero, the guests' echo stops, but I also wont hear them, or my computer audio.

One way around this is to set my computer audio to the computer audio jack, and plug my phones in to the compure. This way I hear what I've recorded played back to me, But I won't hear any of my mics. That makes it a challenge to play music and produce soundscapes for my guests, as I essentially won't hear how I sound via the microphones, only how I sound in the room.

Any ideas how to get this to work so the guests won't have the echo, but I can still hear the microphones and myself?

Workarounds that are not ideal would be to simply drop any talking and exchanging of ideas via audio, and only get that in the chat. And another would be to divide the sessions in such a way, that before talking and feedback, I'd plug my phones into the computer and switch the output on the Zoom client and computer, and then switch back to the original setup for music and mute all guest mics.

Thank you for helpful ideas!

-Antti

More and more, after I was in a breakout session, nobody can hear me and when someone is talking I can´t hear them. I have to leave the meeting and come back, than it works again. But sometimes if I am in a breakout session, there is the same problem like in the main room.

I can fix the problem when I chose other speaker on the pc, but this is not working with the micro.

I use a Mac mini in combination with studio display. Sonoma 14.1.2. Zoom 5.6.12.

Thanks in advanced for help.

The camera is built-in, it lights up that it’s on, and it works in Skype, Telegram, Google Meet - but not in Zoom! I reinstalled the zoom, restarted the computer, closed all programs and applications that use the cameras, allowed the antivirus to connect the cameras, made sure that the camera was connected to the zoom - everything did not help. What's the matter?

Hi,

We are two people using the same wifi connexion for common zoom meetings (we both are interpreters). One (me) is using a laptop Imac 2019 and the other one a macbook air 2022. Since she (the other one) moved to sonoma on her mackbook air, whenever we are on the same zoom meetings, we notice major packets losses (audio and video) on both computers (more on the one connecting in second order) to such an extent that sometimes we can't work anymore. Packet losses that don't appear when I only use my Imac or when she uses my macbook pro (no sonoma). Any clue?
