On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I want to see whether there is support for the following enhancement suggestions, whether anyone can suggest ways to improve the suggestion, whether there are any downsides that someone can call to my attention, whether there is any known workaround for accomplishing this function without Zoom having to implement the proposed enhancement, etc. That is, join me in brainstorming to make the best proposal (that will help as many users as possible) to the Zoom product team. Zoom Transcript and Chat enhancement suggestions (Rev. 3) In a meeting which is configured so that ordinary participants can see and save the transcript, when a participant clicks the "Save Transcript" button, he should be presented with six checkboxes labeled as * Save now* Save every <number> minutes(where <number> is an integer entry field accepting values from 1 to 999)* If the connection gets broken, save the transcript* When Zoom is restarted after a crash, save as much of the transcript as possible* Save when I leave the meeting or quit out of Zoom* Save when the meeting ends (where all possible combinations of the checkboxes are permissible) and a button (labeled something like "Save" or "Submit" or "Do It", etc.) which will record and implement the selections made with the checkboxes. Similarly, in a meeting which is configured so that ordinary participants can see and save the chat, when a participant makes the "Save Chat" selection, he should be presented with seven checkboxes labeled as * Save now* Save every <number> minutes(where <number> is an integer entry field accepting values from 1 to 999)* Save every time a chat entry is made or edited* If the connection gets broken, save the chat* When Zoom is restarted after a crash, save as much of the chat as possible* Save when I leave the meeting or quit out of Zoom* Save when the meeting ends (where all possible combinations of the checkboxes are permissible) and a button (labeled something like "Save" or "Submit" or "Do It", etc.) which will record and implement the selections made with the checkboxes

Zoom crashes whenever I try to share my screen as a co-host during webinar sessions. My screen will typically freeze, then the app will close and I get an alert saying "Zoom quit unexpectedly". I have tried all of the troubleshooting methods, re-installed Zoom many times, checked my internet stability and performance, adjusted my advanced video settings, and still haven't been able to resolve this issue. I'm using Zoom on a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 that runs on Windows 11, so I don't think my device should be the issue. I've also had this error when starting Zoom meetings with just myself as the guest to try screen-sharing and it still crashes. I'm not sure what else to try to fix this problem. I consulted IT services at my university and they also weren't able to find a solution other than the troubleshooting methods listed on the Zoom community support website.

Hi. I have a user that has the Zoom Workplace Business license and has created many invites using the Zoom plug in for Outlook for several years with no issues. However, recently, he sent an invite out to approximately 50 people for a single meeting and about 10% have reported that they received the invite as an email and not a calendar invite plus it didn't include the time or date of the meeting so they couldn't add it manually. The user is using Outlook 2019, with the latest updates, the latest Zoom connector and the recipients are using either Outlook 2019 or Outlook for 365. All users are on the same M365 tenancy. Any advise on resolving this? Thanks.

I host a zoom meeting that has to be publicly posted. I am diligent in removing and reporting zoom bombers. I used to be able to view the jpg that shows up in the reporting email/zoom screen after the meeting and advise as to what happened. The jpg of the screenshot is no longer clickable. This makes it hard to identify which zoom bomber the report is for and to be accurate in my description of why they were removed. Please restore the ability to view the screenshot so that I can more accurately report these people.

Hi, I recording a work meeting yesterday and clicked on save recording to my computer. When I went to convert the files, I am getting a pop up that says the document cannot be open and zoom cannot convert files of this type. I am using a MacBook as my computer. I have already tried logging out, logging back in. I have updated everything including the operating system on my computer. I am still unable to convert the file. Any suggestions? I am truly hoping the recording isn't lost! Thank you

Hi I recently bought an Acer Aspire C27 running Windows 11. Since I bought it, I can't hear a friend's guitar playing on Zoom calls. I hear the singing though sometimes it cuts in and out. I heard everything fine with the old Windows 10 computer. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help.

Can a Zoom presenter prevent me from viewing/hearing shared videos & allow others to see/hear them? This is for a required course (Mental Health First Aid) for me as a volunteer in a free health clinic! https://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/ My laptop: Hyundai Technology made Chromebook, Windows 11 (2H2). Intel/Celeron. My Zoom: the latest version as of Feb 2025 --->>2/8/2025 I attended the course ( 6 1/2 hours long), and I was the ONLY one I knew who could not view or hear the shared videos during the course. AARP volunteer tech training told me to ensure I had the most updated version of Zoom. I already had it. --->>3/8/2025, I am attending the course for the 2nd time due to not being able to view/hear the shared videos last time, made me be listed as a non-participant. --->>If I am not able to see or hear the shared videos by the presenters today, I will have to retake the course yet a 2nd time. For a total of times taking the course. ********Lastnight I tested my chromebook in a zoom meeting I created for myself. I WAS ABLE TO HEAR & SEE THE SHARED VIDEO in that meeting.
