I'm trying to join a password-protected meeting from the Zoom on my Chromebook. But it never works. Specifically:
- I click the meeting link, and I'm told: "The host requires authentication on the commercial Zoom platform to join this meeting. Please sign in with a commercial Zoom account to join."
- I sign in using my Zoom account, and get redirected to the waiting room screen (ie where you preview your video, audio, etc)
- However, when I click the join button, a toast always appears at the top of the screen saying, "Sign in to join this webinar." And I never actually join the room.
Is it possible that Zoom on Chromebook (aka Zoom on the web) fails to remember sign in credentials? In which case, I'll never be able to join any meeting that requires authorization?
It appears a few others are experiencing similar issues: @LeoForfar and @AverageMothball
