Hi,  I added a question to the pre registration page but it is not showing up on the registration page.  I checked both boxes for the zip code i.e. required and  enabled fields but when I try and register with another email address it zip code does not appear.

Zoom Webinar - Start Webinar button disappears after sharing video

I am running v6.1.1 of the Linux client and have recently encountered an issue where the "Start Webinar" button disappears once I start sharing a video.  This has worked for me for years so I am wondering what changed.

Webinar won't appear in my integrated calendar + I can't add it to the prepared shared calendar

When I organise a webinar, Zoom won't send me a meeting to my integrated calendar, but I have it in Zoom scheduled meetings. Zoom doesn't send me any email about the meeting unless I delete it. Has anybody experienced a similar issue? I don't want to... Show more

When I organise a webinar, Zoom won't send me a meeting to my integrated calendar, but I have it in Zoom scheduled meetings. Zoom doesn't send me any email about the meeting unless I delete it. 
 
Has anybody experienced a similar issue? I don't want to make a copy of it just for myself.

recording to computer - layout issue + disappearing speaker video

Hi! We used to Record to Computer our webinars and the layout was set to show the shared screen (i.e. a ppt presentation that occupied 3/4 of the monitor) and the speaker's video (a thumbnail size sitting next to the presentation). Something's change... Show more

Hi!

 

We used to Record to Computer our webinars and the layout was set to show the shared screen (i.e. a ppt presentation that occupied 3/4 of the monitor) and the speaker's video (a thumbnail size sitting next to the presentation). 

 

Something's changed recently on Zoom (an update?) and the speaker's video shows on the top-right hand corner of the monitor, over the shared screen, then it disappears, only to display the shared screen.

 

We tested the following scenarios:

Host = Sharing screen = Speaker

Host = Sharing screen = Not the speaker

 

Has anyone got any advice?

Hello all,

 

Last May, I enrolled in a series of Webinars, but from the end of last June whenever I fill out and try to send the request forms to access the recordings of the Webinars, I get invariably the same error message:

 

"This email address has been used to send the request. Check your email or use a different one."

 

I contacted several times the host/organizer of the Webinars, but he's ignoring me: I never sent the request before; I checked everywhere in my email, but there's nothing; the email address I'm using is the very same (and only one) registered both with my Zoom account and the Webinars account, I can't use any different one.

 

I have left until end of this month (July 31st) to watch the recordings, and I need to understand if I can solve the issue myself, or if it's the host/organizer's responsibility to solve the riddle.

Setting up an event, we want to offer a paid ticket price so that a company can buy tickets for multiple people on one purchase.  The config enables fields that give name, email and role for the first person and then we created bespoke fields for second and third guest to capture name, email, role.  
This did not work because only the first person who made the purchase gets the email communication. We need all guests to receive comms with calendar invitation and updates about their ticket and reminders etc.  

How do you configure Event for multiple people on one purchase so everyone received comms?

Speaker (presenter) can't access Backstage

A webinar speaker added and joined by the speaker quick link but he couldn't see or access Backstage. I was able to access the Backstage, but the speaker joined straight in the Webinar area and didn't have the option for Backstage. How do I make sure all speakers have access to Backstage?

 

UPDATE: answer given below is not correct for my problem. I am talking about a person not the hardware on my computer.

 

UPDATE 2: this was solved by the speaker updating their Zoom to the newest version. He initially thought it was up-to- date but found that his computer's security had actually prevented his Zoom app from updating.

Couple of questions for a webinar 

- We are trying to embed the zoom registration form in our landing page

- The registration form will have 

    • First Name
    • Last name
    • Email
    • Company
    • We will have 5 sessions mentioned on this form each happening every second week the same time. Can the attendee click on the session they would like to attend
    • If yes, will the attendee receive say three (depending on the session) they attend separate links as calendar invites - their unique link. 

Please advise.
