I am trying to confirm the exact behavior of Zoom Events Production Studio regarding speaker video tiles.

If a speaker is assigned to a tile in a Production Studio scene but their camera is turned off, what appears in the live view?

  • Does the tile remain visible (for example, showing a placeholder, profile picture, or name)?
  • Does it remain as an empty/blank tile?
  • Or does the tile disappear entirely from the live output?

My goal is for a speaker’s tile to disappear automatically when that speaker is not on camera. I have reviewed the Production Studio support documentation, but this behavior is not described.

If anyone has confirmed information from Zoom or has tested this behavior in a live Zoom Events environment, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Hey y'all! I am using Zoom Events for the first time and I really like the UI and setup. However, I cannot find how to enable the ability to copy or save chat messages. The Save Chat menu option is disabled when in the webinar, and it's not there in the chat options when I click the three dots or in More under participants.

 

In my personal Zoom account, copying and saving chat messages is enabled, but I've gone through all the settings in Zoom events and can't find it. Am I missing something? Where would it be? Please help!

Hi I am mod for an investor event for my company in 2 days and have discovered that the settings are different to the ones I usually have when I have just done a zoom webinar. I chose to upgrade my subscription to the new 'event' option as the branding is nicer, but in my trial run I couldn't work out how to get 2 speakers plus the presentation slides on the screen. It lets me select side by side presenter mode (shows the slides plus 1 person) but I want to have 2 people visible while the slides are up. I tried spotlighting two people but it isn't changing what attendees will see. Please help me!

Hello, 

I have purchased a zoom events licence. 

I desperately require help in setting up a Zoom Event. My requirements are:
Setting up three simultaneous sessions.
Setting up the event in a way so people can land on the lobby page and choose a session they would like to attend (there will be 3 simultaneous sessions going on)
Setting up a way to send speakers for each session a different sign up link so they can be granted host/co-host access and can share their screen.
Setting up a link for attendees so they can just click the link, which leads them to the lobby and they can choose which session they want to enter.
Allowing other people to edit the event and help host it.

How do other people editing the event access the back end to edit, apart from the link initially sent?


Additional info that would also be really helpful:
How do recordings work for each session? I know they can be viewed directly from the lobby after it ends but can a time limit be set where it can be stopped after 30 days?


Pretty please, if somebody could reach out and help guide me through this process, I would be eternally grateful. Please help with clear directions or if possible, and not too much trouble, screenshots.

Does the Zoom webinar 500 plan mean 500 attendees for the whole month in total, or it means there can be a maximum of 500 active attendees at the same time?

I'm trying to complete the branding domain configuration, but it keeps failing.

Zoom domain configuration 

I followed the instructions in the zoom admin console, and my IT created the CNAME

and I can see that the CNAME is correct in dnschecker.org 

DNSchecker.org 

But it is still showing as failed. 

 

Any idea why ?

Access to webinars outside the US and Canada is impossible

I tried registering for the Quizlet event, but one field was State/province. Since I live in the UK, there are no states (like in the US) or Provinces (like in Canada),Therefore, I couldn't register (of course, it doesn't accept English counties!So, ... Show more

I tried registering for the Quizlet event, but one field was State/province. 

Since I live in the UK, there are no states (like in the US) or Provinces (like in Canada),

Therefore, I couldn't register (of course, it doesn't accept English counties!

So, it should be made clear that customers not from the US or Canada will have no access to Zoom webinars, events, or anything requiring filling in the State/Province field.

Any help or information you can give me will be appreciated.
