Hello we as a school facing issue, students share there links with outsider and they join the meeting using students name and cause nuisance in class.

Please help with this, we only want our authorized users (students) join meeting.

Earlier we use free version but now we upgrade it to Paid version but still same issue.

Hi Zoom community,

 

I'm at a small independent school in Sydney and due to a Covid-19 lockdown, we are delivering our program primarily via Zoom. Our teachers recently all applied for the Zoom Edu Lift on their basic accounts so that they could deliver their content uninterrupted to students. We're really appreciative of the lift on time limits, however, we don't seem to be having much luck with actually having the lift implemented.

 

I applied two weeks ago and was advised by a very helpful Zoom staff member that the lift had been enacted on my account. However, my account still tells me that I have a 40 minute limit. I was under the impression that this advice would disappear when the lift had been implemented? 

 

Our remaining staff members have been waiting for about a week. I know there are probably a lot of schools applying for this lift, so just also want to understand how long it might take for the lift to be put in place.

I work for a Pk-12 school system, and we are trying to see if we can use the host only view. I am not sure what it is called, but we heard about a feature where the host can see the other videos, but the participants cannot. If this is turned on at the admin level, do all teachers in my school need to do that? Or can they have the option to see the class the way they want?

CSV Issues Due to Zoom Events Addition

The addition of the Zoom Event licensing has created problems when re-uploading a user CSV.  With over 280 sub-accounts in our environment this is going cause us a major issue as we need to update users before our contract renewal.  Before the issue started occurring an admin could export their users to a CSV, make the necessary changes, and then re-upload under the "update users" tab.  Thus importing the changes.  Now when we try to re-upload it errors out because it's missing the Zoom events field.  Even more frustrating is that the "download sample CSV link" is correct.  I opened a ticket on this, but the solve provided was really a workaround.  Export the users, and manually add the Zoom Events column.  Has anyone had this same issue?  If so do you have any other suggestions?  I'm going to have to explain this manual workaround to 280 admins, and I need to be able to communicate the process as clearly as possible.

Last school year, I had the option to cloud record.  This school year, the cloud record option is not available. I am only able to locally record. My IT department did not have a solution. My current License is Basic, but I don't remember what it was last year.

 

Does anyone have advice?

inappropriate behavior

we had a student during class create her own zoom link and invited the students to attend.  Can you tell me how to block this from happening?
