I used to be able to show my personal meeting controls to my participants (toolbar, workplace app, etc.).  This was helpful when training others to use the platform.  I keep the setting to "always show meeting controls" turned on in the workplace app so that I see the controls, but there used to be a second setting in the web interface that would show the controls to my participants.  I can't find that anymore.  Has this function been taken away?

I have a licensed version, but it makes me mad, because my students can't click on the shareable screen when I give them the remote control. I have already checked all the settings, the remote control is turned on. I have a button and follow all the instructions, students take the remote control but can't click. Please, help me to find the solution. Maybe somebody faced the same issue and could solve it.

Resolved! Current Version Unavailable?

I'm getting a message that I need to update to version 5.17.5 or newer.  However, when I download the update, I get version 5.16.6.  How do I get 5.17.5?

Resolved! Zoom client crashes on starting or joining a meeting

The Zoom client has been working perfectly on my desktop for months, including and up to yesterday. Today when I try to start or join a meeting, it crashes. The meeting window pops up briefly and then closes. It seems like Zoom tries again 2-3 times ... Show more

The Zoom client has been working perfectly on my desktop for months, including and up to yesterday.  Today when I try to start or join a meeting, it crashes.  The meeting window pops up briefly and then closes.  It seems like Zoom tries again 2-3 times and then gives up. 

  • Have tried with camera on and off (same result)
  • Have tried with multiple Zoom accounts
  • Have tried uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling, restarting—all to no avail
  • Other video apps on my computer work: OBS, MS Teams meetings, etc.
  • The client on my work laptop works with the same account (no crashes)
  • Have cleared Windows temp files
  • Have cleared Chrome cache

 

No idea what else to try!  It seems that Zoom is interacting with something else on my desktop but I can't figure out what it might be.  Nothing has changed since yesterday.

最近、PCをdynabookに買い換えました。zoomの立ち上げ時にカメラをONにしていると、うまく立ち上がらず「バーチャル背景をまだ読み込んでいます」というメッセージが出て画面が固まってしまい、その後「パフォーマンスが悪い状態でシステムが動作しています」というメッセージになります。他にプログラムをまったく立ち上げていなくても、PC起動直後にzoomを立ち上げようとするとこのメッセージになりますし、2,3のプログラムを立ち上げて、タスクマネージャーでメモリが40%くらいあってもこのようになります... Show more

最近、PCをdynabookに買い換えました。

zoomの立ち上げ時にカメラをONにしていると、うまく立ち上がらず「バーチャル背景をまだ読み込んでいます」というメッセージが出て画面が固まってしまい、その後「パフォーマンスが悪い状態でシステムが動作しています」というメッセージになります。

他にプログラムをまったく立ち上げていなくても、PC起動直後にzoomを立ち上げようとするとこのメッセージになりますし、2,3のプログラムを立ち上げて、タスクマネージャーでメモリが40%くらいあってもこのようになります。

以前のPCでは5つくらいプログラムを立ち上げても問題なくzoomが使えていたので、何が原因か分からず困っています。

zoom起動時にカメラOFFになるように選択しておくといったんは起動するのですが、カメラをONにすると上記のように固まるという状態です。

タスクマネージャーを見て、何かカメラと相性の悪いプログラムが動いていないかなど調べてみたのですが、分かりませんでした。

zoomをアンインストール→再インストールも何度か試していますが、変わりません。

解決策があれば教えてください。

I’ve noticed that my face is quite asymmetrical, and I recently realized that my students may have been seeing me in a way I find unflattering. I assumed that clicking the 'Mirror My Video' button would fix this, but I’ve now realized that it didn’t work as I thought. I’m looking for a real solution to this problem, or I might consider unsubscribing and switching back to Google Meet.

Error code: " !An error was encountered when processing your request " after Sessions CSV upload

This is a Zoom Events problem. Yesterday I tried to upload a file with 79 Sessions in it to the Event Content -> Sessions area. I immediately received the error: ! An error was encountered when processing your request 

 

Now whenever I go to the Sessions area I continue to get this error message along with a spinning cursor. I see no Sessions and there is not even a button to add Sessions manually.

 

It's been over 8 hours. I've tried logging out and logging back into Zoom. I tried clearing browser cache. I tried a different browser. No help.

 

Has anyone else experienced this and how did they resolve it?

 

I have a ticket open with Zoom but have had no response yet.

 

I'm in dire straits as my event will start in less than a week and I have over 100 paid registrants.
