Mirror My Video Doesn't Mirror for the Audience

I’ve noticed that my face is quite asymmetrical, and I recently realized that my students may have been seeing me in a way I find unflattering. I assumed that clicking the 'Mirror My Video' button would fix this, but I’ve now realized that it didn’t work as I thought. I’m looking for a real solution to this problem, or I might consider unsubscribing and switching back to Google Meet.

Mirroring is a convenience for some people to help with seeing themselves on camera. Participants will always see the straight image. There are other ways to make a face show better on camera. Lighting, softening the face using "touch up my appearance" and/or "portrait lighting" setting. As a former professional fashion and model photographer I can assure you that every face is asymmetrical (and that is a good thing). Although most people want to see straight on eye contact you can place the camera slightly off-axis and change lighting to favor the "best side".

I solved the problem by downloading OBS Studio.  It's sad that Zoom doesn't have such feature and is indifferent about this matter.
